If you like how vaping has evolved and would like to see it continue to evolve then it is imperative that we get the signatures on this petition, so please take a couple of minutes and sign it :)... We need almost 3000 more by the 27th of Oct. we're not even at the half way point of sig's yet and running out of time.
Thx :)

A MOMENT OF YOUR TIME FOR SOMETHING INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT - YouTube

Not to mention vaping is saving lives. I know it has saved mine.

We had our choice of over 200 different brands of analogs, and everyone had their very own "there is no other". vaping is no different, everyone has their own sweet spot. So why should anyone be surprised when they take someones suggestion and goes "yuck". The suggestions we offer are just alternatives to try.
My observation is that we evolve as we go along with our vaping. What satisfied our needs yesterday won't after we have been vaping for a few months.

Reading through these posts, I could not resist a comment. I smoked Newport 100's for close to 30 years. Tried a bunch of other brands, but preferred Newports. Not the Kings, mind you, the 100's. After the prices continued to rise, I switched to a more "budget" brand, USA, then switched to USA Gold for the last 10+ years. 1 PAD for me and 1 PAD for my wife.

My wife is currently very concered about the outlay in cash I have made over the last two months with these e-cigs:
Purchased Smoke Free Duet kit at the mall(w/extra cartos and case) on 8/20 = $180, then another spare battery = $30
Ordered two Blu Premium Pack kits w/extra cartos = $210
Ordered two RN4081 kits (decided to continue to use existing Smoke Free batts as backups) = $120
Returned Blu Premium Packs for refund (has not yet been credited to account) = -$130
Ordered a bunch of extra (6) RN4081 batteries and (4) RN4081 MEGA batteries in various colors = $120
Sampler Smoke Juice packs (2, both Red Oak and Original), e-cigs leather holders (2 short, 2 long), mixing bottles (4 packs of 5)and Wooden box from Johnson Creek = $180
Blank cartos and e-juice = $70

Wow, sounds like a lot. These are the amounts taken from our checking account over past 45 days. But....

I have not bought and smoked close to 50 packs of cigs, she still smokes a little, maybe 3 cigs a day. So we have NOT bought almost 100 packs of cigs since Aug. That's almost $600!!!! And this amount will continue to grow.

To each his reach. In the long term, this is a good thing. Try different models (like you tried different brands of cigs) until you find your "choice". Do not feel pressured by others to buy "their favorite", I know I did when I showed up here 'loving my Blu'. I received help from a number of "new friends" here at ECF. You will save money, and may just save your life. I know I'm overjoyed at not smoking. Plus I feel great.

WOW! boughtrecords, ya dug up an ol' one.

What's eerie is that I was about to post my thoughts since my original post!

So without further ado:

My love for vaping and the eGo batt/eMDCC combo has not waned. BUT, I need to recant a couple of my previous statements concerning modding cartos. I had no desire whatsoever to fuss with equipment and stated such. When the syringe carto./tank thread came out, ummmm, I do luv to MacGyver stuff from scratch. Well, needless to say, since they work so well, I'm hooked on the 'building' and improving this neat, cheap and operational device. So... I be apologizing...

Just within the few short months since I posted this thread... what an explosion of new devices! I knew it was to happen, but geeeze. I'm still not Beta tester. But nonetheless, it sure is fun watching the desired capabilities becoming a reality.

My latest and keeper acquisition is the Buzz Pro that was on a killa sale. Thinkin' I might 'need' another...

One last thought... I've become very comfortable within this my new rewarding on-line family. Recently I offered a 'challenge' which was not accepted in the spirit it was given. I'm an ol' fart that has seen more than most and been where others didn't want to go. Regardless, I've kept my humor while still having a keen nose for BS and 'attitudes'. So if you have a chip on your shoulder, c'on over, I'll brush it off fer ya. If ya want the truth as I know it, just ask. The humor is spontaneous, harmless and, unfortunately for some, free!

Vape on and don't forget, we all were where the n00bs are now. (Psssst... we do have a Pay-It-Forward and a Treasure Chest forums... Participate if ya can!)

I'm an old guy, too. Patience is something I've had to work on through the years, but I've finally learned that I can get antsy or stay calm and nothing much else changes as a result my actions. It's me who's reacting, not the situation.

We should be stressing (as some do) that vaping is not exactly like smoking. If it was, it would cause cancer and emphysema. It's a substitute that supplies the nicotine craving and settles the nerves. I try to stress to people that in a short time, vaping will taste better than a cigarette, and that is absolutely true.

People have predefined expectations. They expect to be able to lay down cigarettes and take up vaping seamlessly. That does not happen for the most of us. It's a transitional thing. The best advice is not to lay down the smokes and go cold turkey when you switch to vaping. Allow the vaping to replace the smoking. If you crave a cigarette have one, then keep on vaping. You will experience less stress that way and within a week or so, you will realize that you are on the same pack of smokes you opened a few days ago. Vaping will do that for you.

After a week or so of vaping, when a craving pops up, hit the ecig hard for a few minutes and it will go away.
