According to the person that asked me that question, aliens (when they dress up as humans) always seem to get a few small details wrong. For instance, my cigarette should only have a small plastic filter and burn red/orange at the tip. It should also burn, as mine was obviously not.

Then he advised me that I was dressed much as a human would be, however my clothes were not quite fitting with the current era, and my watch is just all wrong for a lady's watch.

Despite my failing to blend in seamlessly to human society, I was assured that I was doing a much better job than the aliens he'd met a few years ago.

I can't help but think it was my PV that tipped him to my extraterrestrial origins in the first place. I must be more careful in the future.
