The other day I thought this is it, my atty is starting to die. It wasn't producing vapor like it used to. But then it occurred to me that I have not done a dry burn in a long time, maybe that is all it needs. So while watching tv I did a dry burn. I put a few drops of plain glycerin in to test it out and of course it worked just like it should.
