I never thought about those factors. I could repost with more reply criteria haha

The hit I get off the 510 when everything is in proper working condition is not enough. I also want to avoid the constant swapping of batteries that goes along with the 510. I think I'll wait to get a few more 'personal favs' in replies to the other thread I posted (and I'll keep checking here if the replies stay on topic) and then I'll do research on 2 or three of the apparently favorite mods.
Thanks for your help rocketman, I was really thrown through a loop with those menacing replies :)

Don't sweat the menacing replies. There are a lot of very helpfull people on this site. It's just that some people are a little touchy about how you ask for help. This post actually should help people narrow it down. If the 510 isn't doing it for you even with everything working, you probably need more volts or a mod that uses at least a 14500 battery so you can use a LR atty. If you are handy you might want to make your own mod it's cheap and fun and you can try a few different mods for a lot less money. Mad Vapes is a great place to buy parts.

I'll do some research and see if making my own is a better idea than buying one premade. Hopefully some more people will weigh in with their experienced opinion on a favorite.

I believe the most important criteria you left out is/was:
  • how long have you been vaping?
  • what liquid are you using?
  • what mg are you currently vaping?
  • how many cigs a day did you smoke?
  • how long were you a smoker?
These may seem trivial but IMHO will assist us in providing validated answers. The 510 was the device that got me off analogs. I have several devices and they all serve a specific function.

If you are new to vaping, until you flush out the manifestation of unwanted chemicals from your body, you will be in search for the "vape", and it will not come. It is called the withdrawal syndrome and you are not going to find a PV that will fulfill that need. That is why BT has been so successful keeping us hooked. I can guarantee that your needs will be different 10-12 weeks from now, to include but not limited to the liquid you vape. Man up and enjoy the ride!

I would like to second what BradSmith has stated. If you find yourself even remotely inclined you can do a search on 3.7v boxmod and 5v boxmod tutorials and you will find that you can build these mods for a fraction of the cost of buying one premade. Even if you have zero experience with a soldering iron you will find it not to difficult of a skill to pick up if you are dedicated. I had zero experience when I started and have just recently completed a variable voltage mod build. My point is that if you want to find what works for you, ie. voltage and cartomizer/atomizer combination, you can do a lot of this research for yourself at very little cost to you. I have a buddy who has spent upwards of $600 on mods to discover what works best for him where I have spent maybe $100 and some of my time. Also by building a 3.7v and a 5v mod build you would be using the same batteries so no extra cost there. I only purchased one mod in the beginning, I have built the rest and am glad I learned how to do so. Good luck with your quest.

I appreciate the advice that everyone is offering, but I would like to restate the point of this thread. I want to know what PV you would choose above all others if you could only have one PV. If you can't answer that question for whatever reason, then there is no sense in replying.

Now that this thread has been moved to opinions and reviews, there is a duplicate post. I would suggest closing this thread as the other has been more productive. I don't want to get in trouble for having duplicate posts.

With all my mods and PVs collecting Dust since I got the Buzz I have to say it's the Buzz for me as it brings out the best vapor ,throat hit and taste of whatever carto, atty or juice combination I throw at it. It has also rendered my other mods as back ups...maybe someday. But as Rocket man explained there is many variables to your questions answer. If you want vapor though put a 510/801 fusion from Ikenvape on that Buzz then open a window before vaping.

The Buzz until 2011 then the Infinity from notcig. Just read My signature or better yet, go read in the notcig forum on either one.
