I checked into the Aero BF and found that when you go to the Aero Page there is a U.S Vendor in TX that has them in stock. The Vendor in U.S is clueless. I even went as far as to go up the line to the manager and it's kind of pathetic. These guys are selling a $200.00 APV and don't know a thing about them. I've searched the internet and no one has done a review.

I was tempted to buy one, but I've had my fill of VV and am sticking with Mechanical for Sub Ohm vaping. There is circuitry and I'm distrustful of Sub Ohm vaping with the circuitry. The deal breaker for me is that Aero has two types of switches. A push button switch and a Touch switch. Currently the Aero is only available with the Push Button switch.

According to tech support in Europe this switch is rated at only 3 Amps. He says that it could be used for sub ohm vaping but he doesn't know if the switch will hold up for two weeks or 5 months.

Either way for me I'd be going outside the tolerances of the unit and at $200.00 it simply isn't worth the risk. I love the styling.
The other version that will be available will have a 15Amp Touch switch. When that one comes out I'd consider adding it to my collection.

I think this is a great unit for a person who will be vaping within the 3 amp limitation. But not for me.

I had some questions and Customer Service in Erope was responsive but didn't answer all my questions.

Hey tom,

Almost purchased this mod the other day to try out BF'ing (hadn't done it yet), just got my Vmod 2.0, I like it, so I'll probably pull the trigger on one of these soon and will do a review,

A question though,

Where did you see/read that there are two types of switches available, I only see/read the touch activation switch available on their site, so I'm assuming this is the type of switch for sale at retailers.

I'm guessing you only received the amp ratings from the e-mail and didn't see this listed anywhere online as I don't see it either.

FOR OTHER POSTERS RE KICK,

I don't know for sure, but from what I read the unit regulates the power (assuming to 3.7V) so I can't see it being possible to use the kick/crown or other devices... not that you couldn't use them, it just would be counter productive, but if it's your thing to watch electronics fight, you might like it.... either way... set the kick to 4.0V and the AB will just regulate it to 3.7V

I like to put a humidifier and Dehumidifier in my bedroom and watch them fight it out sometimes.

Ya, I'm about to pull the trigger on this, really want one as I just fell in love with BF'ing, but can't find a mod I like. Currently own a VMOD 2.0 which made me want nicer BF's. The AB by Aero looks like the only thing that fits the bill, but I just can't find any info on it.

I really want a mod that I can (kick/crown) as I like VV/VW, but I don't know if that's possible with this, from their description I would think otherwise. That being said a 3.7 mech with LR atty's is not bad either, and I can handle that.

One of the things I do like about the mod is a low battery warning and regulation. At least I'll have a consistent vape until the battery is finished once I've found the perfect atty.

Oh well, wishing there where more nice BF's on the market. (This is not a que for REOnaughts to jump in, I not fond of it, I'm not bashing it either so relax, just don't want one.)

It sucks, because the VMOD is very cheap feeling/looking and I'm sure performing (cheap contacts, small guage wire etc...). I'd like a better quality mod. It's not a price thing either, I couldn't care less how much the mod cost, I just can't find anything nicer than the VMOD at the moment for ergonomics/feel/look/size etc... except for this AB, although I would really like an AB 14500 mod :) (you listening aerovapes)

I couldn't find anywhere on their site that specified there are two versions, the only mention of either is that it uses a touch sensitive switch, which made me assume that they are all touch. I'll take your word for it, although I'm wondering if they've changed to a touch switch from button since you contacted them. (how long ago was that?)

I've email their support for some answers on these question, hopefully I get a better response than you did, I'll keep you posted.

I'll probably just get the stupid thing out of curiosity anyways, when/if I do I'll post some answers. I'm really just hoping at this point that someone will point me in the direction of an even better mod, that's why I'm holding out.

Any updates of this Aero AB bottom feed mod?

I picked one up on Saturday. The device seems rock solid - and uses a standard 10ml bottle unlike some of the other bf options out there.

Have only been using it for two days now, but I'm impressed. My only concern are replacement parts if needed down the road, but there isn't much in this device to begin with - pure bottom fed mech similar to the non-vv Reo models.

The Aero Vapes site is misleading - the AB does NOT have the touch sensing button mentioned on the site. It is, however, a solid mechanical ss base for the button and what might be an aluminum actual firing button.

Drip well on this mod is huge and deep - big plus for those who use standard atties. I haven't tried to fit any RBA/RDA's on it yet. Fires like a champ.

What is the Ohms of the Atomizer.
Have you tried Sub Ohm.? I would love to hear how it holds up to sub .5 Ohm Vaping.

So, are you saying it does NOT have regulation (as reported earlier in the thread)?
