I have been using the ares 2 for over a month and love it! It is very forgiving, very easy to build and comes with tons of extra stuff, Best rta i ever owned
Don't have the MD.. so i can't... erh... make them battle.
But the Ares 2 definitely gets a thumbs up from me. It's ridiculously easy to build and wick, has a nice throat hit and is very solidly built. Just a great choice for a daily driver MTL RTA imho.

I would probably go with the HV MD. I have both and they are both packed away in their boxes, neither are my favourite but they are both good.

Ok let's say someone point a gun on you and u have to buy either ares 2 rta or hellvape md rta...what would u guys choose....just want to know your opinion guys.....
Are you a new vaper? If so, start with Ares 2. It's the most user friendly RTA on the planet--easy to build, doesn't leak; and coils, wire, cotton and hardware are provided.
Hellvape MD has many fans but is trickier to build. I suggest you watch some YouTube videos and judge for yourself.
Both are solid RTAs.

Another vote for the ares 2 RTA. It was my first rebuildable tank and I'm really liking it so far. The whole building process was simple enough after watching a few YouTube videos. You also get everything you need to get started right away besides wire cutters.
I haven't used the Hellvape but I do have an Ares 2 and it's very good. One of my fave MTL tanks. Easy to build & great flavour. I have quite a few MTL tanks & it's up there.
I recently procured a BP Mods Pioneer & that is even better for flavour and has a great MTL draw.
