Are You People INSANE!?!! Sure, he's done the right thing on ONE ISSUE. He has also been a huge part of helping to driving this state into the ground.

To me, as a non-citizen, he has demonstrated that he is willing to legislate each issue on it's own merits. That is a lot more than most states are willing to do.
It is true that no politician will please all of the people all of the time. That is part of the job he took on. But he seems to be able to judge each issue individually and make a sane decision on it.
Off Cali shore drilling an example. He is willing to stand up and be counted, regardless of his party politics. e-cigs, as has been mentioned already, he read the bill properly instead of just listening to the bull. He also called out the majority by vetoing any suggestion of a ban on smoking in parks and open spaces.
His view on green issues is another, it completely goes against the mainstream of Republican thinking ie. why sell a 2.0l model when a 5.0l model is just so much more comfy? WTF? Comfy? Who cares about comfy in the grand scheme of things? As long as it works and gets from point A to point B, it is acceptable in today's world to get more than 10mpg.
I know he drives a Hummer, but it is hydrogen adapted. He is trying to teach people to be responsible by practising what he preaches.
I think a free thinking politician is a good thing, even if it rubs some up the wrong way.

Good call Arnold! ...and the E-Cig ban veto too!

Now, if you can just make good on your promise to cut taxes.
This is what he said during his initial campaign to become the Governator:

"From the time they get up in the morning and flush the toilet, they're taxed. Then they go and get the cup of coffee, they're taxed. They go for lunch and they are taxed and it goes on all day long, tax, tax tax..."

I voted for him but we misunderstood the message. Apparently he thinks it's a good thing!
Meanwhile we're hemorrhaging businesses to other states leaving the rest of us to make up the difference in lost tax revenue.

They need the money because Government is the only growth industry left in CA. and government employees belong to big powerful unions. We're also a sanctuary state for illegal aliens from everywhere which doles out the highest welfare benefits of any state in the country.

The Small Business Survival Index ranks California 49th among all states for business friendliness, just beating out New Jersey as the least business friendly state in the Small Business and Entrepreneurship Council's annual rankings.

You're smoking something other than e-juice if you think California's government is ever going to hand Arnold a bill with any tax cuts in it. I'm pretty certain they were this || close to upping taxes recently.

I imagine they'll regroup and do their best to find a way to stick it to both the small and large businesses that are stupid enough to haved stayed there. JMHO
