Received in the mail today. Why does first class mail feel so....second class? Anyway, made two coils out of 28 awg for my fave dual build and the post screws quickly shredded the leads. Made two coils out of 26 awg for my 2nd fave build and the screws clipped those with similar ease. Made one more coil out of 26 awg @ 1 ohm and trapped the leads under the screw heads....Success! And surprisingly I'm not really missing the second coil. Anyway, so far so good. Happy with the purchase so far. First thing I put in it was betelgeuse. Way better flavor in this atty compared to what I was getting out of the derringer. Custard is next.

The included drip tip is a bit large for me but after trying my own with the included adapter it does seem to be relevant to over all performance.

Are those screws Phillips? I have been hating those lately.

I see they are Phillips heads. I have been replacing my Phillips heads screws with socket heads when I have some that match. Might have to measure these and get some replacements.

Oh yeah, I ordered mine this morning. Great to know the flavor is good!

Flavor is good. But really, they are all pretty much the same flavor wise IMHO. Air flow is not as restricted as my old Patriot was but seems to be a good replacement. Only thing that I may end up not getting on with is that the vape is cooler. But I knew that going in. I am REALLY digging no spit back. I think that the lack of splattered ejuice globs on the back of my throat may be the big difference in flavor.

Really just shooting from the hip right now and leaning on first impressions. I've had it coiled up for all of 3 hours.

Thanks. I think it's funny that you mentioned the spitback because I do think a lot of atties' flavor does come from, sometimes at least, the liquid actually being spit. Sometimes when I see people talking how much they can taste the liquid, I think, that's becasue you ARE tasting the liquid. haha

Right now I am using my 454 Big Block RDA and they had tried something similar with their driptip design (albeit a much less thought-out design), but it actually ends up pooling in the bottom and causing liquid to be slurped up.

I hope I like this atty becasue I have been hitting a wall with regard to finding the one I like much more than the rest.

I have yet to use a juice that tastes good right out the dropper. Slurping sounds even worse!
Btw, turns out i got lucky mounting my coil using the screw heads. Just noticed that it is extremely close to the air flow insert. Thats with the top of the coil dead even with the top of the posts (excluding screw heads)

I've had mine for awhile and only remember trying single coil build once and vaguely remember it being adequate-i think it really benefits overall and increases the intensity of the flavor with dual coil builds though. the wide bore drip tip it comes with gives me a full mouthful of flavor (was kind of surprising the first time i tried it), and the using a 510 drip tip gives me a sharper, concentrated (almost too much flavor) flavor vape.

Also, since you haven't mentioned it and its a useful feature, I'd like to note that the leak proof is legitimate-the only time i've had it leak is when i purposely way overfilled it (coils were submerged in juice), but standard daily usage has resulted in no leaking.

I'm not sure about the v2 any time soon, though they're quite receptive to feedback (steamcrave that is) but they do have a glass one coming out soon as well as an rba-and a few other projects im not sure i can really mention, but things look promising from them.

After filing the bottom of the post screws smooth I am still unable to get a 28 awg built in the dang thing. I think the holes inside the post are just too deep. Maybe someone can give me a pointer?
I was able to get a dual 26 awg build in but it seems to be kind of a waste as I don't notice much of an improvement over single 26 awg coil in this atty. Would be perfect with dual 2mm 28 awg coils though, if I could get them in there.

Still think the flavor is pretty good and I like the airflow. A little warning though...You have to keep the drip tip adapter dried out when using a regular drip tip that necks down at the bottom and sits too close to the anti spit back plate. You will suck up a mouth full of juice.

Already got used to dripping more often that I had to with my derringer and patriot.

usually when i run into problems with 28awg or higher, i double up the legs on the coils (make them a bit longer than normal and bend in half).
