The second 3 post deck i didn't want but they decided to send me anyway shipped out of NY today. After some complaining that trying to force a two 3 decks made us "even" solution down my throat wasn't going to fly, and that i just wanted the Velocity deck i put in an order and paid for, i did seem to get them to agree to send me out one some time latter next week though. Of course they were nice enough to inform me that if i was to put in an order for a new one today, that would ship out of NY within 2 days. Yay. Top notch customer service there.

Anyway, i have absolutely zero need for these extra 3 post decks, so if anybody does and simply wants to pay the shipping hit me up with a PM for a freebie.

The AFC band is actually very easy to use, slides very nicely but keeps a snug fit. The problem is if you've slightly unscrewed the base to line up your coils, moving the AFC band moves the tank and screws up that alignment unless you go all brain surgeon and delicately hold the knurled strip to keep things positioned.

The airflow setup in general should definitely be at the top of their list for V2, but it's not a dealbreaker compared to how much I love the tank otherwise. And who knows, you could always be one of the lucky ones who ends up with a unit whose airflow holes align perfectly, in which case all you have to contend with is the silly aesthetics of the band.

*edit* And even in my case it's a relatively slight mis-alignment, next time I build I'm going to position my coils slightly off center and I'm pretty sure it'll align perfectly when the tank is fully tightened that way, at which point using the AFC band will be even easier.

@roxynoodle and any other early users. What's your serial number? New kids what serial number range are you guys in?

001920 3ml
001635 6ml
Both shipped on the same order.

I'll get with you once my headache is a bit under control :). I have 4 of them. I bought the first during their initial preorder (first run). I didn't buy the second until the v deck was ready. And 2 came from a friend, and I'm not sure when he bought them, but they don't have v decks.

has anyone drilled the juice holes out a little yet?
Yep, @Trexwyo has, as well as blocked the other two holes.
I made a few changes to correct some of what I feel are issues with this tank delivering it's best flavor. The two air holes aimed at the posts cool and dilute the vapor 100% Flavor is richer and vape is denser with the post holes blocked. Vape bands and tape is ugly and vape bands move easily. I thread tapped the two holes aimed at the posts with a 6x32 bottom tap. Only tap 3 1/2 turns deep so a 6x32x1/8" stainless set screw has a shoulder to tighten against. I also like lots of airflow so i drilled the two remaining holes out to 3.5mm. this increases air flow area by approx 40% A person could tap all holes to be able to block 3 of them for a single coil too.

I plan to order 2 of those badboys once my vendor of choice restocks.

Any reports of the wire clipping syndrome on the velocity decks lately?
This seems the only real problem I could have with this atty.

I´ve had that problem even with the new V-deck where the holes are not drilled through.
Sent Maggie an email some time ago, I guess they learn to make it like it should some day.

Other than that this is still the best tank out there.
My build is vertical .36/.2 claptons and man it vapes good.

Had the Bellus few days ago but its not even close to this.
I might have to get a good setup in there to get the best out of it but damn that deck is small!
I think I will make some small claptons when I´m in the mood.
