@rolf I was wondering how you got that resistance with 18, lol!
hi roxynoodle !@rolf I was wondering how you got that resistance with 18, lol!
hi roxynoodle !
nice to hear from you . hope you feeling well.
yeah that would be like wrapping a broomstick around a sewing needle ..lol did you ever try a parallel ?
I was late getting into Ti because of it's potential hazards but what really was a turning point was when I took it to the point of no return so I could actually see it. I'm on to Nife30 and 52 now simply because I'm lazy. You are right about that. Duals are very difficult to get the resistance high enough although some reported the DNA200 firing at .05. Not sure if that is okay for the board though. I will use Ni200 in my STMs single coils and make the plunge into Ti soon.

TC beyond Ni200: Nickel Purity, Dicodes; Ti, SS, Resistherm NiFe30; Coefficient of Resistance
Dayum! Glad I kept seeng this thread pop to the top and finally started reading it! I do still like my Billow V2 a lot and will probably keep it in the rotation. But this rdta is AWESOME! And so easy to make non leak-able! It's laying on the bed next to me. Not a drop! Of course it's only been an hour or so but dayum! No fiddling like the Billow. Just simple A1 26g dual horizontal, .4 ohms. Pushed the wicks to the bottom. Wet em. Fill er up. And go!
No idea how my airholes are lining up. No afc band on. I'm not big on flavor as I can't taste much. But I swear I'm getting better flavor out of this than I do in my RDAs (which I don't use much). I have it on a mech tube. What's that? 40ish watts? I'll prolly put it on my istick tomorrow and turn it up and see how it goes. But this is perfect for now.
Hit's like a beast! No leaks. And plenty of options to play! Which I'll do more tomorrow. Anyway, just wanted to pop in and say thanks to y'all that kept talking this piece up so much. I didn't think it could get better than the Billow but I'm glad I finally bit the bullet!
Looks like the post holes go all the way through and be prepared to debur the whole thing. You can see the poor milling in the pics....just sayin.
