I got my VT200 in yesterday's vapemail, it's still working! I tried my old build at higher power and it just got burny.

I tried twisted 30 gauge Ni200 but the grub screws weakened the wire enough that positioning the coil broke it. Gave up on it for now, will eventually sand the screws and retry.

I put dual 26 A1 10wrap contact horizontals in it and it is working great at 37 watts vaping 50/50 juice. I'm pretty happy with it. Now I set up for my first attempt at DIY juice.

You are right about that. Duals are very difficult to get the resistance high enough although some reported the DNA200 firing at .05. Not sure if that is okay for the board though. I will use Ni200 in my STMs single coils and make the plunge into Ti soon.
I was late getting into Ti because of it's potential hazards but what really was a turning point was when I took it to the point of no return so I could actually see it. I'm on to Nife30 and 52 now simply because I'm lazy.
TC beyond Ni200: Nickel Purity, Dicodes; Ti, SS, Resistherm NiFe30; Coefficient of Resistance

redrilled the juice holes to 3/32.....
put in a 24ga nich 80....2.5mm....7 wrap... spaced..... .22ohms
ive vaped it for half tank now and i think its perfect
more flavor....denser clouds.....jucier vape alltogether
vaping it side by side with the mt tank with same builds...two ipv3li's
the vapes are different but i like the aromamizer better...but barely
i think it is because the juice has a shorter distance to travel up the wick
from the source....
with it drilled out to 3/32, i think its getting plenty of juice to satisfy
a greater demand.....
this vape is so awesome that i am done modifying this atty
it is perfect now!!!!
i am confident to say with the holes drilled, its the best tank on
the planet right now!

ps... btw... absolutely no gurgling or leaking yet

Dayum! Glad I kept seeng this thread pop to the top and finally started reading it! I do still like my Billow V2 a lot and will probably keep it in the rotation. But this rdta is AWESOME! And so easy to make non leak-able! It's laying on the bed next to me. Not a drop! Of course it's only been an hour or so but dayum! No fiddling like the Billow. Just simple A1 26g dual horizontal, .4 ohms. Pushed the wicks to the bottom. Wet em. Fill er up. And go!

No idea how my airholes are lining up. No afc band on. I'm not big on flavor as I can't taste much. But I swear I'm getting better flavor out of this than I do in my RDAs (which I don't use much). I have it on a mech tube. What's that? 40ish watts? I'll prolly put it on my istick tomorrow and turn it up and see how it goes. But this is perfect for now.

Hit's like a beast! No leaks. And plenty of options to play! Which I'll do more tomorrow. Anyway, just wanted to pop in and say thanks to y'all that kept talking this piece up so much. I didn't think it could get better than the Billow but I'm glad I finally bit the bullet!

I have not because of the potential TiO2 hazard. It is good to hear you saw it form and are comfortable it is not dangerous if you are cautious. I had heard that but I trust your judgment so thanks for that.

Truth be told I have not had the fortitude to delve into the thread you linked. I have been tackling other vaping challenges but it will come. Maybe sooner now, I sure would like to use TC on the Aromamizer and my Velocity as well.

Ya mon, I have about the same build running in it today at 37 watts and it has been consistently good all day long. I need a lot of flavor too and this has been performing.

I'll help you with that sos. Yes you do ☺

I just recoiled and wicked it just cause. :) Just to be sure I want just lucky the first time. And to add more wraps and bring the ohms down. 24ga. Piece o cake! With that velocity deck and just plop the wick on the holes in the bottom. Ba-da-boom! Cranking like a charm so far! Maybe now I can leave it alone for a few days for a real test. If this keeps up I'll be getting at least one more as well.

I'm on another fill with the same build. I have dumped over 30 mls in this thing and the flavor just gets better and better. It will be so sad when I dry burn and rewick. It's not a Mephisto RDA flavor but it's dang close and so much less hassle. 6mls is 18 holes of golf btw...
