What am I doing wrong here? The juice is 82vg, it just isn't flowing like I thought it would

Just watched the video again and the guy is talking about always seeing big bubbles come up in the tank from it wicking. I don't see that. I might get 1 or 2 bubbles every other hit and they are very small.

Guess I'll make some 70vg juice and see if it wicks because it's not doing the job at 82 vg

I honestly have no clue what I'm doing wrong here. I've been using rda's for over a year so I'm not a noob when it comes to wrapping coils and wicking plus I make my own juice for over a year now too.

It just will not wick. I've had a Atlantis v2 before and I remember using that at 85 watts and every other hit I would get huge bubbles coming up. That does not happen with my aromamizer.

I've got the wick on the deck so it should easily pull the juice up to the coil when I hit it but it just runs dry.

I ran it dry and turned it upside down. No juice came down at all, so I flipped it back over and it had huge bubbles like it should. Ran it dry again flipped it over more bubbles flipped it back and ran it dry.

My chest hurts from these dry hits

Try fluffing your tails a bit. You might be blocking the holes instead of allowing them to feed the wick. Its a guess.

To me, there doesn't appear to be enough wicking. And if you aren't doing it already, tuck the wick tails down dry. Don't pack them, keep them fluffy.
I agree. Was just about to post this. I wicked this way once, and it was the only time I got a dry hit. It definitely needs more cotton in there.

This is my first rta so I expected to have a learning curve.

I replaced the cotton and put more in then I normally do and it seems to be helping.
I was thinking if I put too much cotton in that it wouldn't allow the juice to come up and that it would essentially clog the juice holes up with cotton.

What wattage are you all vaping at?

I'm running quad 28ga coils at 60-75 Watts, 70% VG. :vapor:

No dry hits and I can do 110 watt pulls easily. I normally just stick with 60-70 watts running at .3 ohms. To line the airhole up to the coil, you're going to want to place the coil on the right side instead of the left towards the edge and not centered. Mine have been perfectly centered and now it's my favorite tank out there. I'll even say I like this more than my uwell crown as far as flavor and vapor.

And the million dollar question is: how will this "velocity style" deck line up with the airholes...
Some people off their Facebook page were sent some of the extra beta tester units they had laying around. Hopefully they'll shed some light on that issue once they receive them.

If I had to guess tho, I'd assume that it will still be an issue, as Maggie told me the Aromamizer was designed to be that way. "It doesn't matter if the airholes are in front of the coils because there's 4 airholes total, so it doesn't make a difference." I highly disagree.
