Nitebreed - are you sure you have kids - your home doesn't show any evidence except the changing table and crib!

There is no way I'm taking pictures - they house is trashed right now and I don't care.

sounds like we'd get along great! :)

I'm having hard wood floor envy. But I hate to clean them.

Sallana - how are the schools in your area. The little guy will be off to school in just a couple of years - if the neighborhood is bad, and the schools are 'eh' or less, don't buy. It's not worth it. A house is just a roof over over your head. A home can be anywhere your family is. It's nice to have something you can be proud of - but it's not worth it if you become married to it fretting over repairs etc - and if the schools suck or you you can never let the little man out to play without worrying about his safety, you will be much better off moving.

SO true!! Location, location, location!!

Sal is trying to get us all to keep house. And work our hinney`s off like she has.

^^this. Can I curse her or call her names? Funny considering I clean for a living. lol - but then again, no one lives in the houses I clean. I'm half temped to post a pic of our guest bed - you can't see it right now because it's hidden until Mt Washmore - clean fortunately, but waiting in vain to be folded and put away. And socks all over the floor from all of us digging thru the basket to find matching socks. And one end of the kitchen table is under a bunch of coupon flyers and my binder. And one counter top is covered by mail and bills that need to be filed. I could go on...but it depresses me on this sunny day.

This is a good point Dark, and one we have talked about at length. There is a fantastic school in Vestal which is out of district. It would cost 1,500 / yr to send him there and we'd have to drive him. both of which I think would be just fine.. I work from home and in 2 years plan to be making pretty good money. the only other plan would be MOVE to vestal.. we don't want to get too far away from Binghamton because now we've started networks here and a business. Vestal is reaaaallllyyyy uppity though. I mean when it comes down to it.. is it better than a gangsta neighborhood? Sure. But the popo here are really good about keeping it clean for the most part. There's a ..... house (literally) across the streat from us that they can't seem to break through.. But that's the worst of it.

In a couple of years I'll only need 2 sizes of socks - one for the males in the house and one size for me. Right now I have 4 - because DH& DS#1 wear the same size. DS#2 can almost wear theirs - and ds#3 and I have periodically worn the same...but still have 4 sizes floating around. DS#2 &1 wear the same size underwear - they've had literal fist fights over them. I had to buy gray for one and black for the other. (white is so not "in" apparently)

Chelle - your idea temps me. I'm going to have to stew over it for a bit. Wonder how much it would cost to get socks for 5 people? hmmm Our anniversary is coming up at the end of the month - that would certainly be a unique gift! lol!

Did someone say sci-fi? Like Asimov, McCaffery sci-fi? I don't stop at books either movies and TV too.

Bay Window in Living Room (Obviously taken at Christmas) insidehouse 004.jpg

We bought this house about six months ago, and are still doing work on it. You should have seen it before the new flooring and paint.

I can only seem to attach five files at a time. So, I thought I'd start with the living room. The computer desk is no longer in there, we turned one of the bedrooms into an office

The thumbnail is the eat in part of the kitchen
