She was talking about my bathroom.

:) I meant her reference to her view being "30yrs of hard work" My yard will NEVER look that pretty! That's talent (and a very green thumb... I can only grow wild things)

Well I took some pics. House isn't totally cleaned yet, A/C went out, so I had to put my cleaning/decluttering on hold. lol.. my house looks like a 'lived in mess' next to these showrooms.. but I'll try and get a few up. Mind you, the whole yard of grass died this year, but it's been recently raked by my DS.

My room with my PC in it has stuff all over the desk, two cupboards in the dining room are full of stuff, so is the kitchen table right now. This desk I'm at in the lounge, every drawer is full of vaping stuff and then there's random stuff around the house....I really need to get more organized.....don't even look in my car

NOoooooooooooooooooooo! Don't do it!!

Kudzoo is the WEED of the south. The story I grew up hearing: it was brought over here to help when they put in the highway system, to keep the normal overgrowth back off the highways. Back in the early days, after they made the highways across the country, they really didn't have (or foresee) the manpower needed to man the upkeep. So they used this vine plant from Japan, where it grows wild. Seemed like a win win at the time. WELL.. what they didn't realize is that Kudzoo strangles and kills the plants that it covers, and it thrives in the Southern climate. Yes, it held back the foliage and wildlife off of the highways, but it grows like crazy and they can't kill it. They've now spent millions just trying to 'undo' what they did.

I have some in my back yard, and it's a constant battle to get it off my plants. Twice a year I rip down huge piles of it. :p

OK, the downstairs is about as clean as it's ever going to get so, here it is:

My front door/entry/playroom (staircase leads to the bedrooms and full baths)...this is my living room:

This would be the same room, photo taken from the other side:

The whole downstairs is open/goes in a circle. When you come in the front door, you can turn left and go into the dining room or go on into the living room...at the end of the room by the french doors you can go into the kitchen.

Dining room:

I had the wall between the dining room and kitchen removed.

It's just two long/thin rooms really...this house is kinda set up weird...but we make it work. :)

Very nice B,I like it.

You can imagine how big it seemed to me coming from 7 years in Key West in itty bitty apartments LOL! When we moved in there was PINK carpet in every room but the kitchen and bathrooms. There is still pink carpet in the upstairs bedrooms and in half the little hall (I ripped half of it out myself, and we haven't been able to get the upstairs done yet).

This is the front of the house (Livi is by the door :))

The house needs work...but we really love our neighbors and they love us. It's a nice little community here. :)
