Can everyone please weigh in on the drop down list used in the last round? Here's how it is from my perspective...

1) Easier for me because there are FAR less duplicate requests
2) You are more likely to be able to receive your request because the website won't (in theory) allow you to check out if someone else requested that tip already.
3) TrippyTips.com will be getting a facelift this year to make it possible for the tips to be listed individually...eventually.

This is a temporary solution to a passing problem and I want to make the best of it (and keep the tips coming) by doing what is best and easiest for the community so please chime in. If you have any suggestions I am always open to them.



And On yet ANOTHER topic, Thank you all for posting the pictures today! I am not sure what happened to the pictures thread. I didn't close it though.

I liked the dropdown, my only issue with it was that I didn't think to use the comment box to offer a 3rd choice should my requests have been a duplicate - but that can be easily remedied with a notation on the checkout form. It's a big improvement over the comment-only request process, and seems a good temporary measure until your new system is in place.

I can go either way, Bert. I say make it easy on you - The more time you have to spend getting the orders filled, the less time you have to make trippys.

I will agree with Dave and it worked Bert. I put in two on my first order and it showed not available so then ordered my Blue one so the system worked.

I really can't make any suggestions as my cart emptied out 2 times before I could check out, so I just made the notations in the comment box and said my prayers. I liked being able to get the Trippy News with them numbered before hand to choose the ones I liked and then seeing them in the drop down box by number.

You should pm a mod about the pic thread and ask for it to be reopened. It may have been a mistake on the forums side.
