Hello Everyone!
I am starting this thread to replace the previous threads about my high quality art glass drip tips. These tips are designed with many good ideas put forth by users from the forums requesting certain features and or colors. I am always open to suggestions and ideas that you would like to see come to fruition.

The tips are designed to be attractive, durable, and comfortable on the lips. The idea behind having 2 o rings on the drip tips is 1) The lower o ring holds tight to the inside of the atty, and 2) the upper o ring provides a cushion between the glass and the atty to reduce wear and hold the tip upright nearly eliminating all wiggling of the tip.

I am just one guy who does this on my spare time. The whole process takes at least 2 days to make a batch of tips. Therefore the demand for them is much higher than the current supply. If there are any available they will be posted to the website linked in my signature, and can be purchased via paypal. The website also has pictures of drip tips that I have made in the past.

Thanks for your support and interest! I am really enjoying making these things and look forward to your input.

Sincerely,
:evil:Bert:evil:

So! it's been over a year now since this thread was started Trippy kin. As I sit here in the midst of creating for you all I have to go back to this post. Bert's first. I will tell you that; over six months and 2000! tips in, this will be the first set of Trippy Tips I will manufacture entirely on my own. You see, Berts double O ring design took over six months for me! as a glass artist of over 15 years to actually create myself.

I have spoken of intellectual property in regards to Robert Langan's (Bert) design. This is just fact to me since it took this long to actually design, manufacture and create a Trippy Tip. It's the first time in my career as a craft artist spanning over 20 years were I've had to learn this in~depth from a peer how to create a finished piece.

So, here's my praise to Bert's design; his dialog within it which to this day astonishes even me, and to this community which has spawned from it all. I am blessed to be a small part in all your lives.

Thank you all! and may the next year birth greater joy from the last

1st off, congrats Cyclin! I'm so jealous... I wanted that destroyer so bad! congrats man! :toast:

I'd say congrats to star but I already did... heck, I'll say it again. Congrats Star! :toast:

well, Avengers was ok. not great, but not bad. had some funny moments, great special FX.

it's only part 1 so to be expected. bit long in the beginning setting up how the "Avenger League" came about but last 30 minutes or so paid off...

heck, Black Widow made it all worth while for me, really. :D

never going on another opening weekend though... jam packed, babies crying, ect... had people sitting on the steps... think they over sold it.

anyways, good evening Trippyville. :)

I don't really have anyone else to share this with, it sort of pertains to this thread... I'm a tank user and I've been somewhat disappointed with the available selection. I figure I most like the Jonboy tanks but don't use 'em much because they are not compatible with my beloved Trippy Tips. A couple of months ago I had a crazy idea that I could make my own tanks to my personal specifications. After spending a bundle on equipment and several botched tries I believe I have built a tank that will be usable. If not it at least resembles my original idea. The idea was to make tanks out of resin blanks(like the Jonboy tanks) that match my Trippy Tips and my PVs.

I designed this one to work with 801 fusion mega cartos. Note how the bottom covers the collar and eliminates the unsightly gap, this gap bugs me but is there on pretty much any fusion/tank setup or buzz/tank setup. It sort of matches this tip, i tried to make it look as if it were part of the tip. I wanted to make the diameter match my Buzz but pen blanks of this size are hard to find. This tank was more of a practice run but hopefully I will be able to match tanks more closely to my Trippy tips in the future.

Well said Freddy and I love how you and Bert communicate with us. The insight and thought processes is fairly unique (I use another vender here that communicates like you guys).............. BUT this is art and art Thrills me, all of it. I have absolutely no artistic ability so people who do blow me away and to get a glimpse inside is a treat. I have to thank HzG8 for "tippin" me off to your two.

Thanks ~
