Well Cyclin, I like the Pink, White and Purple in that order and I think Sedge likes the Blue ProVari...lol I keep asking him which ones we want to sell out of the four we have and he says none... We have two black ones and two silver satin finish ones...I think we need to sell some...Well the jury is out on me for the Purple, it might not be the right hue for me, but the Pink and White for sure! Honeslty I just don't know why you cant buy the tubes or sleeves alone, but then they wouldn't make as much$$$$$...

I liked the white, it kind of reminds me of Apple stuff before they started coming out with blacks. If they have a little darker blue than the picture I saw then I'd choose that one. Purple is a tough color to find the right shade of definately. I like the majestic, royal purples, and the Mrs just hates purple. Dunno why. Mrs seriously wants a Pink tho

Have you guys considered getting the blemished ones you showed us then having them powder-coated to the exact color you want? Probably be cheaper plus you'd get to choose your shade of color.

Thanks for the link! Dental appt. cancelled after I got there and discovered the new office doesn't have nitrous available and won't be having it. Now I am waiting on a referral to a new dentist. Sigh... 20 years with my dentist and then he brings in the new guy who starts running off the patients who require gas... Plus I am highly irritated at getting up at 5:00 to go to an appt that didn't happen!

Sun, my dentist does not use nitrous either. I have cavities to get filled and been putting it off. My HMO seems to have a crummy choice of dentists but I def. need to switch. Good luck!

Woohoo! So I finally got a raise here at work.. It's not much, but it did add 20% (20% of nothing is still..) and when I'm all situated in my new building I should get anther raise. Thank god. Been drowning lately

I know a guy who will powder-coat them if you take the "guts" out, and you can get any color sent to him at "Powder by the Pound".
That's where I got the colors for "Goldie".

I actually saw some nice powder coat colors when I was picking up that air brush gun last week. They are for autobody purposes so they should work for PV's. Maybe I'll pick a container up on my way home and paint the Lavatube to test it out. Not saying I'll paint PV's for anybody or anything, you should still send it out. Just saying for $20 (One color paint + Mini Air Brush Sprayer) and a small air compressor you could probably do it yourself.

As for the Katana wicking... you should probably just give Blu a call and have her explain every last detail of the process

If you have a gas stove you can use that ... that's how I do mine.

I know I love white electronics too! I am a white person though, I like pastel colors and white, not much into black anymore. One day I looked at my wardrobe and put a moritorium on it about 10 years ago and said to myself what am I attending a funeral on a daily basis? I need more color! I don't know about powder coating Sedge is a little leary about ripping the guts out of them...

Ultra all you require is a kitchen blow torch ........ blow torches are fun...it's like a pyro power tool
The mesh will be 400 or 325 ..... it will not matter unless your using 100%VG .... then you would require 325
wicks are intimidating at first..but after you roll your first, you will find they are not difficult at all..... it's sort of fun making them actually. your first one will take you 30 minutes....but then you find all that flame and and e-liquid burning can be done in about 5 minutes. As Blu suggested....follow Scotts' video to the letter, take no short cuts and you will have a good wick to introduce yourself to the Kat

Kami - I have had MORE than enough brass-polishing practice. LOL

I used to get $5 a belt buckle in San Diego before big inspections. LOL


UV - I have only used mesh wicks in mine ... you need some sort of torch then, a lighter isn't hot enough. They have them at Home Depot for about $20 for a small butane one.

Blu, will my flute polishing cloth work on Brass? It is two clothes in one, one to use on the beginning and one to finish it with, but its really for sterling silver... I tried it yesterday and it didn't seem to do much, but then again I didn't put a lot of elbow greese into it..

Sera - not sure .... I used Brasso in the Navy, and Pedro recommends Duraglit, which I think is the same as Brasso, or at least made by the same company.
