Thanks.... I'm gonna give that a try. I have some juice thats almost all VG, so I can try that too.some juices swell orings what I usually do is lick the oringsthen i insert the tip on an angle and twist as i push it in

I think I read through about 75 pages to get caught up. A lot of chatter since Thursday evening for sure. Those tips that Bert showed were amazing and especially the opal pierce. I absolutely loved the humming birds. We have about 4 dozen of the little critters that return ever year or so we believe. My wife has three 1 quart feeders that get sucked dry every 3 days. The are definitely ferocious when it come to being territorial and they drive our kitties "Kwayzie". So sorry Seraphina's met its demise but sometimes things just happen that force us to reevaluate our processes. It was still an awesome example of your flame-working prowess. Well I'm completely beat and feel almost ill from the minimal sleep I've gotten in the past few days so it's an early night for me. I really just wanted to stop in and tell everyone that I know what you did last weekend
. I'll hopefully get back into full swing over the next couple of days after a couple of evening meetings get resolved and hopefully they won't spur any other extracurricular work.
Here's a few of the litttle booger's making slurping sounds at the bottom of the feeder. There was a 4th on the backside when I took this picture from the basement of our previous home. I swear they followed my wife to our new place. She makes their feed herself and doesn't spare the sugar. She even adds the red food coloring to draw them in. We once tried the store-bought stuff and they turned up their beaks and continued to buzz us chirping until she made them her usual blend. Damn spoiled little critters!

I see that vv woodvil recommended battery to use is 2x 18350. Will it be able to work with a 18650 and still use the vv?
