Brew - I don't have the rebuildables for bottom-feeders, so can't help ya there. I'm into the tank kind.

Amber - an air hole in the top plate would be better than the glass. That's how they are all made.

The vivi tank doesn't have a top cap like other rbas. its basically a tall tube with a DCT cap. LOL.

Well I live and work in a T-shirt or Polo and jeans world where most of the tubemods really don't work well. I can do small egos and such but could you see a guy walking around with a Genny-style mod or better yet a GG with full UFS rig stuffed into a front pocket. "Is that a tube mod in your pocket or are ya just happy to see me!" I do carry a soft-sider briefcase to and from work but the man-bag is out of the question. I already tried the city purse thing to carry a service-size 9mm but it screams GUN in these parts and I'm certainly not doing one of those for any other purpose. So pocket-friendly REOs have got to be the base upon which the rba resides.

I thought I saw Pietro doing the same using some kinda bamboo yarn in the ERA. I also saw a video of a vertical coil attachment on the chalice that lets you replace the wick every so often without replacing the coil. However I'm all about flavor. I don't like a cold vape but I don't like a hot vape either. I'm looking for a goldilocks vape with a Trippy on top  Brew

Ill tell you, I much prefer the mesh set ups because I think they have more flavor and vapor. But HZ showed a pic of a cloud Ive never gotten out of silica before. My closest comparison is a rev4 stainless ce2 (the ones in the black box with the green stripe). If you like those, you might like these. I used to love these, until I found ss mesh. Its a ridiculous flavor and vapor once you set it up right. That said, there are some juices that I just prefer on a cisco 306.

Brew - I was up really late, got up early to get DD off to school, then took a couple hour nap, so I am still moving a little slow. LOL

At least I got up before noon .....
shhhhesh......you slug
Hey Bert - I have a tip I was thinking of having made into donut ... can I PM you a picture sometime, and you could give me an idea of what might happen with the colors, etc?
It's for this Reo ... it matches really well now, but isn't a donut.
If it would change a lot, I can always go the i06 route.

Blu gets her kicks on Route i06

G'Day Tripsters.....

Amber - I guess I don't understand how it is set up ... what does your wick go through, and your posts?

It looks like a gen tank, but it comes with silica and the posts are screwed into the top slab. Its air hole is in the bottom connector like a cartomizer, but doesnt work worth a crap.

Amber - looking at the vid, the top plate is the one that the screws and wick go through .... that is what needs an air hole/fill hole.
It looks like metal?

Ooooh ... I get what you want .... a hole in front of your wick, an air inlet .... got ya. :toast:

You got it! I figure if I throw a couple of those together and use them on my conference in florida trip I wont be so bummed if they get destroyed in transit or get lost in my luggage or the other million things that can go wrong. LOL

Ooops ... sorry for 2x post ....

Kami - got Orion and Katana glass today from Terry in the UK. I will put one of each in the BOC. :)

I haven't tried them for size yet, guess I'll do that on the Orion 1st, I can slip them on w/o trashing my wick. The Katana will have to wait till I need a re-wrap.

Blu- heres the Vid about modding it. Maybe it will make more sense to skim. LOL. its like 30 minutes long.

Sooner- you might be interested in watching this is you still have those vivi tanks we bought.

I know that I made the video over 30min but it necessary to have all of the info in it!! Thanks for the interest in my video!! It is really not that hard to mod, but the main issue with these tanks, is when you pull off the tank tube. You have to make sure that the center post does not come apart when doing so. They were not connected very good from the factory, and come apart too easy!!!!

Absolutely! Blu didn't know what I was talking about so I told her to just skim it. Another regular here who might be interested in doing this too is sooner, and I highly recommend he watches the whole thing! I'm probably going to rewatch it all tonight before I get started!
