Amber - maybe drill the poly so you can see if you like it or not.

You can't "un-drill" something. LOL That's why I haven't drilled out air inlets on a lot of my things.

Yeah I'll start with a poly for size and placement, then I'll move to glass once I know exactly how and where to put it!

Oh ya, here's a pic of one of the new designs... forgot about that. My wife took the pic since I left the holder at home. No finish has been applied yet and that piece on the front is Meranti while the holder itself is Russian Birch.

I have a couple more designs already built but here's a teaser

I like all the holes, and the design on the front. No wasted space .... :toast:

Work it out with Bert and get those babies on the site!! LOL
I need me one!

(I like the 1st one shown so far) :)

Ya that first one shown is nearing the final draft for this design. That second pic I posted was the one right before. and I think I posted the other one with the etching on the levels. There were a couple others but I didn't take pictures of them. Then I have some weird oval ones and a couple others under the workbench in the shop

Morning Pietro how ya been?
Been doing good Ben thanks for asking and you?
All right Tripsters,
Tell me why I should take the leap into rebuidables? I'm not about to leave my REOs behind and with regard to atties the Joye 510 1.5Ωs and the HH 357 2.0Ωs are my engines of choice. The Joyes get me through my 11 hour days away from Home. After a week to 10 days they get trashed . The HH357s do evening duties. 6-10 vaping hours on a 357 then a pga ultrasonic bath, straight VG wick wetting and then back into a carto condom battery-end down to be put back into a 4-atty rotation. Other than not buying $4.67each or $22each respectively atties, what does the ERA or chalice do better? I'm seeing mixed emotions even amongst our experienced Trippy folk. Is silica the way to go? I've seen cotton yarn, bamboo?-yarn, cheese cloth and SS mesh all as possible wicking materials. How does one get started without going through all of the tribulation? I'm really not wanting to deal with mesh but if there's a good reason then I'll rely on advice from the more experienced on this facet. Love to hear what you all think? I would never dare to use an atty that doesn't allow the use of Trippy Tips either. Thanks in advance. Brew

p.s. - I have four REOs that are 3.7V and will likely need a 1.5Ω-1.8Ω resistance while I have 2 VV REOs that seem to work best at 2.0Ω-2.5Ω. 3 of the 3.7V REOS are mini form factor ( a mini, an 18490 metal & an 18490 Woodvil)
I don't have a lot of RBA experience but III will say this I'm really loving my ERA its very simple and cheap and I get awesome vapor and flavor I use silica but there's many others using bamboo yarn , cotton candle wick, cheese cloth and mesh from what I've heard? I like the silica rebuilding them is super cheap only problem is they don't fit all the Reos you could pm Dan Patrick he has a complete list of which fits what but basically the ERA fits the Grands and both VV's and also the Metal 18490 if you use a Shorty 510 /510 adapter or by milling or dremeling out the catch cup which is what I'll be doing to mine shortly

Sent while Hyper Vapin a Trippy Tipped Reo
