Thanks Mike - Yeah, I fell in love with the color... and the way the color was made... white underneath a clear blue green glass on top, so cool!

Thanks Willow :D I love the dragon eyes -- they have so much depth  And I am especially happy with the size... it looks bigger than it is :D but actually more in line with the size peanuts I like.

That BERT! He's such a special person!

I wonder if my TrippyKin can help -- for some reason no matter how many times I "unsubscribe" from certain emails, they keep coming in :glare: So, I've learned to love the "Block Sender" option in Outlook 2010.

And just when I had a good handle on it and junk emails were going to the junk folder, lo and behold there is a new kind of URL which Outlook cannot filter! Whenever it tries to process to block sender and cannot, it gives me a message that says:

OEkUlbQ.jpg

Apparently marketers have found a workaround with the URL that doesn't let you "Block Sender"

Help me if you can Trippykinz :) Meanwhile, I'm going to Google ;)

Delilah! My main gal!

Why don't you try to block them through your actual account and not just through Outlook? :)

What does the @****.com of your email say?

Well, that's the thing - I don't want to open the email because I don't know why I got the email in the first place.
I have AVG scanning my email, but I'm not sure if these emails are safe  But guess I have to take a peek...

here's the URL for an email with the subject "Auto Warranty":

Αutо Warrantу Oрtіоns <of( ) fice.de9gGYT1gKC. 0CX@ja r ulesnos.info (misalignment)>

Ummm I meant your email Delilah :)

Like what type of account do you have? That way I can give you detailed instructions on how to block them from your account not just from Outlook

EDIT: NVM I found one of your old emails. If its still the same I may be able to help. I have 12 minutes left here and thats more than enough time to give ya a step by step one sec

Here's one option:
Go to http://mail.yahoo.com/

To have Yahoo! Mail delete all mail from a particular address automatically:

Hover the mouse cursor over the settings gear in Yahoo! Mail or click that gear.
Select Mail Options from the pull-down menu that has appeared.
Open the Blocked Addresses category under Advanced Options.
Type the unwanted email address under Add an address:.
Click +.
Your updated list of blocked senders will be saved automatically.

Basically the reason I said to block it direct from your account and not through Outlook is that if you block it through Yahoo it won't even make it to Outlook. Outlook is a locally hosted program meaning it just receives your info from your Yahoo account, so if you stop it where you initally receive it (through the webmail) you won't have to worry about it reaching your Outlook on your PC.

Unfortunately it takes all of 1 click to spoof a different domain when you are spamming emails so this won't stop them all, just ones you have blocked. But that is the same as Outlook as well, to stop new ones before they reach you you need an updated SPAM filter :)

Has anyone with a Plasma been able to capture the beauteous colors in a photo? I have been spectacularly unsuccessful in doing so, which is no surprise given my (lack of) photographic skill. I would like to show it off, however. So far, I have managed to take pix of a beautiful clear tip..... HELP!!!!!!!!

Perhaps if you photograph the tip against a dark background? Or maybe don't use flash? Or photograph the tip at an angle?

Here's what Willow did - it might work for you :)

Hi everyone, I'm wondering about drilling holes in cartos. I could use a very small drill bit...has anyone tried this? has it worked?

Havent tried that damselle but I don't see why it wouldn't work -- I'd just say be careful not to go past a certain point so as not to damage the center tube of the carto :)

Good afternoon Tripsters! Awesome vape mail today. Got the bf hornet (thanks mike), put it on my vvwv reo and I just love it. Think I'm gonna need another one for the 18490.

Ok, I've now gone to pcpartpicker and picked out all my parts for new computer. Now I just have to hit the buy button and get the courage up and build this thing when it all comes in.
One of my sons friends is going to school for this maybe I can talk him into checking it before I plug it in and make sure that I have connected all the cables right so's I don't blow anything up.

So excited for you, I love the process of building a new box. Trickiest part is the cpu/thermal paste, everything else is legos. There are lots of step by step vids on newegg, and the net in general YOU CAN DO IT!!!. What case did you decide on?

Nope, no success here, yet . . . not for lack of trying

Drilling can be difficult. Since it's a round surface, you'd ideally want to use a drill press rather than a hand drill (though a milling machine with a custom jig would be even better IMHO).

Two points of advice:
1 - be careful how deep you go with the drill bit. If you hit the filler, it can wrap around the end of the bit and start pulling fluff right outta the carto
2 - Since it's a round surface, you'll want to punch a little dimple in the tube, first. This will help keep your drill bit in place and prevent it from walking off the side of the tube on you. Just a light hit with a center punch, nail or carto punch tool should do the trick without warping the tube on you

In most cases without a custom-made jig to hold everything in place, it works out to be faster and easier to just punch it via normal methods than to drill it :2c:
