Hey Cyclin :)

Did you get wifey that cool bag for Mother's Day?? I got one!! LOLOL

LOL Awesome! Gotta love it when you buy your own gifts, always get whatcha want :D

Ehh I've been kind of slacking on getting her something... so she's getting jewelry. Problem was I was sitting there on the couch ordering her Mother's Day stuff, and she launched into this huge tirade about some dumb .... which I'm sure she doesn't even care about now. But its hard to spend a few hundred bucks on a person spitting foul language and bull.... at you. I had to close the laptop to defend myself and never got around to ordering it. Hope her stupid rant was worth it, cause now I have to go the ....ing jewelry store to spend just as much on something she wants half as much. What a pain.

Yeah I feel dumb now, in retrospect if I had order the bag that day rather than closing the laptop to take part in whatever inane argument my life would be easier. But meh, I'll live. Your hubby's a lucky guy :p you make it too easy on him lol

You could be really petty and get her a vacuum cleaner.
 I was thinking of taking a cue from my father's playbook and getting her an ironing board for Mother's Day. It's such a wonder why they got divorced lol

Dunno know about Kirbys. I've got my grandmother's Electrolux she got back in the 60's. Still works just fine. You know what they say......
I hear ya man, aside from computer-related and technical stuff, I'd rather own anything made prior to my birth lol. They just work. Stuff you buy now is easily affordable and even easier to break. When I was cleaning out my grandfathers house he had all this stuff from 30-40 years ago, and wouldn't cha know it all still worked like the day it was bought!

Cyclin - my mom had one for year, an upright and the little tank one you drag around. I remember trying to ride that thing. LOLOL

They do work well, can suck the floorboards THRU your carpet ...

Anyhoo ... gotta run ,.... have a good day.

Yeah they are pretty beast lol. I liked that ours had these attachments for everything, sorta like what comes with other vacuums, except they work

Plus it could shampoo the carpet which was cool. We had real clean carpets growing up, which is saying something when there is 5 siblings.

You know, once upon a time, it was believed that a solar eclipse was the dragon eating the sun.

On an unrelated note, if you didn't notice, yesterday the Senate passed a bill requiring Internet businesses with sales in excess of $1 million annually to collect and remit sales taxes on out-of-state sales. While Bert is probably safe for now, it's probably worth keeping an eye on as it moves through the House. Some of our larger vendors could potentially be impacted depending on the threshold.
