Water bottles scare the crap outta my dogs! They hate it when I drink from water bottles and jump up and run away any time one crinkles LOL
hmm... now that I think about it, maybe I'll start using one to crinkle when they get bitey with each other
Now isn't that interesting. My Sophie loves playing with empty water bottles, as does my sister's boxers. That's why when the delivery man suggested putting it in a sock, I decided to try it. I'm getting sick and tired of sweeping up bits of plastic, lol.

We are getting a little in the basement still, but nothing like it was a few days ago (knock on wood). I do have family in Boulder that is undoubtedly being affected. I will be calling them and offering up a couch/guest bed in a little bit here. Beata was unable to go to work today because the roads were closed.
Here's the same river I posted yesterday, it looks like it rose about 2-3 ft over night. As you can see we are on higher ground here so we don't expect to be swept away thankfully.
Please keep those affected in your prayers. There are plenty who have lost it all!

By the way, we saw the sun today and even had a glorious sunset. Even if it was just a lull in the storm it was pretty great and seemed to lift a lot of spirits here.

Burt not doing a thing Thursday as i took Fri off so can meet for dinner and drinks for sure! As for recommendations go i think we should see who all will be there and meet then play it by ear.
But i swear i need this bad the first month of school this year is the worst ive ever seen it here. And last weekend was pride weekend here so of course i had to do that lol.
I am so looking forward to seeing and meeting you all.
