I knew I never should have bought that Trippy Tip :glare:

I just spent the last hour looking at all the different stores that have them for sale. Luckily, I only bought one more. Now I am going to need to search for a different color door for my REO to match the new tip. And a stand... I am gonna need a stand for them. Note I said "them"?

Bert, this is a problem. I assume you realize they are like (self edited before I get nailed for using an addictive drug reference in ECF) right?

Hahaha Gotcha! You thought it was just coincidence that Bert just happened to have the perfect Trippy for your Reo  all part of the plan for World Trippy Tip domination muhahaha

Good morning Trippy Nation!

Mornin all! Hope everybody made it back safe and sound.
Welcome to the madhouse VS! If you haven't already, you should register at www.trippytips.com. Buying from the store is one thing; going through a sale is a whole other level of excitement! :D

Periodically, Bert will have trippy stands for sale on his site. Until then, I'd suggest you google jewelry travel cases. They're a great way to store your trippy tips, don't take up a lot of space, and are portable as well.

I actually bought it from Bert, so registered while I was being shamelessly seduced by the one I bought. I would ask if there are any glow in the dark ones anywhere, but that would mean I might buy another one. That is what I was looking for but kept coming back over and over to the one I got. The other sellers don't have descriptions of them like Bert does so I have no idea if there were any glow in the dark ones or not?

I am not telling DH about it either. He can notice it on his own. If it looks like I think it will, he will certainly notice the color change on the REO if I get the new door! I am truly pathetic.

This is all YOUR fault. I am sure you are in on this well designed conspiracy. I can see it now, you conniving with Bert just as soon as you found out I was innocently on my way to Vegas. I agree, this was no coincidence! :glare:

So when's the next sale?

Can't wait to see Cyclin's new acrylic design!

vsummer - so nice to see you here :D

I held out as long as I could. But as you can read above, there was a well orchestrated maneuver to suck me in.

I talked to Bert about why I hadn't bought one before, I really do have a good reason. But once I was able to actually see one up close and personal, I was a goner

Evening Tripsters! Vsum yes Ben was the hottie lol. Amber I'm sorry you had to experience that but it at least gave you heads up to prepare. Bert Colorado trip sounds like a blast! And I would def want a ben stand. Ben we need to chat about the acrylic ones.

I'm so very happy to have spent time with you all that came to vegas it will be life long memories except the drunk parts lol.
;) Jim we loved meeting up with you Vegas! Next time we'll have to spend more time on the Tjloa express-tour lol

The acrylic ones I just decided to do yesterday, the first couple designs are made I just need to pick up the materials. I've always known I could do sheer-cut acrylic on my machinery but we never had much use for it here before. However... my boss wants to open a vape B&M now and I was thinking of making all the countertop displays and it got my wheels turning.

I will probably pick up some sheet from Home Depot for the prototypes, then source larger quantities after I have the process down.

Thanks Bert and Vsum, glad you're diggin' the Dark Star mod and I hope to have them available in a few weeks :)

I should be at Vapetober too on Saturday.

And Ben no need forworring about Vegas fun, you guys were awesome.......... Oh to be twentysomething again :D
Lol We had such a great time. Its funny you were exactly how I pictured you from all the time I've spent in the thread :)

Beata is thrilled to have inherited the opus d. She swore by e-go passthrus until last week when she was swearing AT them, and has finally stepped into the world of APVs! She even just told me she wants to learn about ohm's law lol

Nice! Kali has NO intention of learning anything lol.... She just wants it done for her which I can understand

Ahhh yes, always got that Trippytip monkey on my back wanting more =P I still remember my first sale... Did it from a phone while getting the car windows tinted in the back for the baby. Seafoam Helix and bluish Helix whose color scheme I can't remember the name of right now

Well, then you need a black or chrome REO :D

Yes, Ben makes amazing stands.
For a long time I used a giant travel pill container, it worked for most of my tips, just not the big ones. Someone here had a jewelry box that worked well.
Thanks De :) These ones are different from the last, these are the ones designed by you guys in the thread a few months ago :)

So when's the next sale?

Can't wait to see Cyclin's new acrylic design!

Its gonna be fun! I will do the first ones in clear cause I've always wanted clear. And I think one of the protoypes will have some drawers or something, I haven't decided on that part yet.

Good Morning Trippyville,
Well were finally stirring and hope to be heading out soon to get a few errands resolved before I start the lawn mowing project. Thankfully we only had one day of rain or I would have been cutting a 24" deep swath. I read all of the comments last night and had to agree with all of the sentiment. It really was a gathering that will be one of my fondest memories for the remainder of my life. We made new friends, we solidified names with faces and gave out way too much information. I am who I am and really can't fix that.

We had a rough trip back but we made it. Delays in Vegas and Dallas Fort Worth resulted in us getting home around 1am Tues after leaving the Hotel @ 9AM Mon. After we wound down and got some rest, we awoke to one or two of our cats having used one of our packed suitcases as a urinal. Mrs. Brew is freaking out and I'm trying to keep the two male cats alive. Based on the quantity it was likely one who instigated and another who followed up. So far, this is not great day as cat urine is not easily removed or deodorized and they will hit it again if they can find it. Oh but life moves forward.

We stayed an extra day to take in the Cirque du Soleil Zumanity show and somehow I got targeted for one of their interludes. They played me as a lover of eroticism and I was happy to oblige. :pervy: That was until they somehow twisted my interest in the HOTTIE performers as an interest in the MC who is a bit too masculine for my tastes but the crowd loved me. Karen played along and we had a good time. SOOO happy the pictures won't make it out to the web. Oh and here's the D.Queen/Tranny in all his/her glory.
zumanity.jpg

I had my first run in with those boys on Bourbon Street and understand to avoid the girls with Adam's Apples so I let the joke go but a women who goes 180-190lbs at about 6 feet with a football players build is not exactly sneaking up on me. Oh well we did have a good time. The show was definitely a Burlesque review with facets of the gymnastics expected from a C. du .S. performance. Now back to my coffee and chores. catch you all later, Brew

Wow, that was a tough trip home. Glad you guys made it! From what I was reading, you weren't the only ones to have some problems flying home. And it was a pleasure meeting you and Mrs. Brew... and squeezing you into the back seat of the car whilst facing deadly dangers like "wall of bus", Jim's penchant for yellow lights, and (almost) impossible turn arounds.

Isn't that cute your cats missed you? They were just marking their territory in case your planned on taking off again
Here is a light hearted, but worthy site for helping out with that problem:
http://swistle.blogspot.com/2010/05/psa-how-to-get-cat-pee-smell-out-of.html

I love my cat, but he gets possessive as well. He got one of my suitcases once, I found an enzymatic cleaner works really well. Try that on the suitcase, and then put it somewhere to air out for a year

your work is beautiful aI love real heartfelt art, as I am an artist too. I think I have a good Idea for you. How about a donut but one that is twisted. In my opinion greens as a base color would be the bomb.

great looking stuff
Kind regards

Well you are in luck my friend! The amazing artists at Trippy Tips have created twisted donuts like what you described. They named Helix Donuts (as Helix is the shape style name of the twisted Trippies).

I actually have a really nice one made by bert himself thats a GITD Helix Donut (Glow In The Dark) its half white (the glow part) and the other half is a really nice dichroic I believe

I love the glow in the dark ones, and many of the newer tips have a blue glow! I need to get one of those(besides the dragon :D). There are also some awesome black light responsive tips too.. I need one of those too lol I'll have to check the vendors and see if any of them are glow tips, I'll let you know if I see any.

But for your viewing pleasure, here are mine that glow

and this one too, I just don't have a glow pic of it, need to take one
