So now we're having a nudists only trippy tip sale? I would come, but I'm afraid I would put to shame the rest of the men when I lost the boxers! And I would hate to make all my trippy buddies feel so small and inadequate

Yes, TRIPPYTIPS -- as in GLASS ARTWORK -- unfortunately the men's minds go elsewhere.....
At DD's middle school they have in their Advisory Room, a certificate where they put these "Seals" they get each semester for academics, citizenship, etc .... and we were shown those as part of this presentation my daughter had to do (new way of doing conferences ... kind of dumb if ya ask me).
Anyway, I asked DD "where are your Honor Roll seals?" ..... DD says "Mrs So-andSO said my grades weren't good enough ...." So I ask Mrs So-and-So "Why does Lane, who's GPA is 3.7 not have an Honor Roll sticker?", she said "I think she needed a 3.8" ......
Ok .... NO middle school on the face of the earth would have a 3.8 GPA cut-off, this ain't Harvard, and were not after summa cum laude .... anyway the Honors cut-off is 3.2 her school, but advisor lady had no clue. (I was calm, and no slapping occurred)
Anyway, just got a e-mail saying DD will get her award, and the one for last semester also, on Monday.
We had a private discussion on telling my kid her grades "aren't good enough" .... View attachment 88406

Of course our minds wander. Every 15 seconds or so and besides TIPS is so close in spelling to some of our favorite mind wandering material

Looks like it's gonna be a late one again if the Tip off hasn't even come out yet. I was hoping to get one this sale but I don't know how late i'll be able to stay up. 3 toddlers wears ya out by the end of the day.

Jen, I found out what my rash, that started around midnight, and all over severe itching, and bright red swollen ear lobes was caused by... I have a bite on the underside of my chin, that I discovered this a.m. It's not Black Widow or Brown recluse as it's had enough time to cause respiratory distress if BW (and "like a faucet" clear liquid pouring out of bite) and no pain, at site, or big red circle, at site, so not BR... Probably one of our little black flies that bit me when I was dozing. They always cause a rash but when they bite it hurts so much I usually feel it.
I'm such a delicate flower.

Thanks MWA - we are very involved (more than she'd like I am sure) with her schoolwork and grades. That's why this "presentation style" conference was silly. She's "presenting" all this stuff like we've never seen it ..... I know what she does for homework every night, and see all her tests, etc when they come home.
I guess maybe some parents aren't so involved ...
