OK, I finally caught up. I'm glad you all are having a contest! LOL...I need to say that I have heard your concerns about some of your TrippyTips being too tight/loose from earlier. I check ALL of the TrippyTips to make sure both o-rings fit in my sizing atty. It is an average size according to my digital calipers, and the atomizers I own. Unfortunately the size of atties varies between brands, and even between atties from the same company some times.

Here are my proposed solutions:

A) I can figure out a way to post a "TRS" (tightness relativity scale, yea I just made that up) with each tip (IE Sizes ranging from 1-20 would be listed with each TrippyTip and once you know what size fits best for you you can aim for that number) The different sizes would basically be representing 100ths of millimeters. The TRS would be listed in the description of each tip and you could even browse the TrippyTips by TRS

B) I can narrow the acceptable tolerance on the slots a bit. If I decrease the tolerance to a +-.05mm instead of +-.1mm I will have to adjust the price of things to reflect the amount of work it will take to do so. The slots would take me 2-3 times as long to cut so there would be less of a steady supply

C) I can provide different sized o-rings which can be put on to the tips so they fit looser or tighter depending on the solution you are looking for. The downside of this is that the o-rings of smaller sizes actually cost more because they are less common. They are 3x more expensive and I've noticed that they are more fragile (because they have to be stretched more) which is why I don't use them currently. They are also a real pain to install and shoot across the room at alarming speeds if they slip out of your fingers during installation.

Does anyone else have any suggestions? If not, which option(s) would you like to see me pursuit?
~Bert

Pursue, yes! They all sound good and any of them that you choose will be just fine, I'm sure.... everyone here trust you to decide on the right option :)

My opinion is leave well enough alone. Some of mine fit more tightly than others but they do fit. I can't imagine shopping for tt's by tolerance parameters instead of looks!

I hate the smaller o-rings. As you say, they are harder to put on and can take an eye out when they shoot across the room. I have not had any problems since my 5th tip I think it was. I say keep doing what you are doing and offer the different size o-rings on your site. jmo

about all I can say is I thought for some reason silicone o-rings would hold up better, they don't. I just got them in today and they don't stretch out as good. they break before you can get them on. I wonder if other types of o-rings would work

Bert - I think making smaller o-rings available to buy on the TT site would be good ... the smaller ones you sent are perfect if the tip seems tight, and since it may only be one or 2, and some people may never get one, the option IF you have a tight tip is better than re-doing your whole cutting process.

Um .... just my :2c:

I don't know that anything can be done Bert - like you said, atties and maybe even cartos vary a bit even by the same manufacturer/brand!

Just today I posted that I have 4 HH357, one will fit my REOmini, but not the other, one will fit one REOGrand, but not the other... I wish a 510 was a 510 across the board - then again, what if it is the 510 connectors
