ooooooh, That white tip you posted Starlight was made completely with a "latticino cane"!! It's a technique called "coil potting" and the axis has bee shifted, nice! piece.

I used to live with and amazing peer in my field when I was a newbie in flameworking, Dellene Peralta. She taught me soooo much, all my dichroic skills, coil potting...the list goes on. She! is a powerhouse of technique and skill. an awesome mom as well.

I actually need to check in with her. There's this honeycomb technique she taught me with dichro....yes! a dichro honeycomb!!! I know how and have done it (I even sent Bert 1 dichro/honey trippy peanut in the last batch) But! I want to honor my sister Dellene and make sure she's ok with me doing her technique first...I'm sure it will be cool, just showing my respect

SO... I have a couple of things to add about the current custom project. Both Bert and I will be fabricating them. I like the idea of setting a cap or maximum amount available, but it will not be as small as 10 or 20. The minimum amount of orders we will take at once should be closer to 50 or more custom orders. It is my primary concern that we meet your orders promptly and both Bert and I foresee being swamped...which sounds like fun to me!

We should be up and running by the end of this week with custom work. I love the idea of hand tailoring a tip knowing! who it's going to. I will also be fabricating some sculptural samples of possibilities and a couple of abstract/free style tips to wet your custom palate as well later this week....my creative juices are flowing!

Also, I am allowed to have a banner!!!!!....an unlinked 400x65 signature picture banner. Who wants to help make one? I'm actually clueless of what they mean by 400x65, must be a size I'm a "non digital" artist, ok...but you are allowed to make fun of me. I'm looking for one that explains my forum role (the manufac. offline stuffs) and has that awesome light blue web site color in there....thinking Delilah might enjoy doing this for me.....hmmmm...

off to make some java and conquer this monday!!! I have the studio ventilation system and some shelving to do today have an awesome morning everyone!

Is sashwa using a Reo Grand ? or a different feeder ? if a Reo there shouldnt be any issues at all with the bottom feeding and a 357 or any Atty, accept for one, and that's if her hose in the bottle is sitting flat on the bottom of the bottle, tell her to make sure it is cut on an angle and not sitting down tight on the bottom, if this is happening it wont squank properly.

You can see in my Avatar I have what 5 there, all have 357's on them and a Donut, all kick Azz and vape super.

Matthew I was using a 2.5 long barrel 357 on my vv woodvil. Feed tube is fine and I can squonk using other attys or cartos just fine. Tube is cut at a slant. The 357 was not too tight on the vvw. I know how to use reos - first one was a metal mini reo I got 1/11.

I don't know if anyone has said so, but the 357's and i06's pop like that when you run them dry and at too high voltage. If it still works try SOAKING it with liquid, like 8 or 9 drops and using a lower voltage.

I'm sure you know how to use the Reo sashwa I wasnt saying you didnt at all, was only trying to help resolve the problem you where having, which I still just dont understand if your feeding other Attys why this 357 wont feed. Have you tried another 357 ? or is it jut this one you have ? the ONLY thing I can think of is the ceramic cup somehow got pushed down inside the Atty and the piece of mesh that is placed under the ceramic cup is blocking your juice flow, but I dont see how this can happen unless the ceramic cup was pushed down very hard. I'm sure Sedge will figure it out when he gets it, I would like to know what it was out of curiosity so please let me know once this is resolved
