My dog just brought me a pecan from the yard to crack for him. Lol! How does he even know that's food? He used to shell them himself and eat the nut, but in his old age he's getting too impatient to do it.

Thanks for eveyone's input....I'm torn between the ones at RTD and DFW... When I checked RTD the other day they didn't have a whole lot and now it seems they have more! Prices are better than DFW but DFW definitely has some that really catch the eye!! I'll make a decision here soon I know- I really NEED one at least!!
Just bought one...sort of a rust tint with a twist with multi-color strands twisted up from the base to the tip- should look good on my Black/copper vein Reo VV Grand!! I got the one from RTD- I think #39. Problem I think is they are as nice as what DRW is selling (for less)- just that the picture quality on DFW is better. Either way, I'm sure I will be over-joyed when it gets here!!

No I cancelled my shifts and work now know. They send me some beautiful flowers today.
I am going to try and do 2 shifts before I stop. One with my quadraplegic and another with my Dementia patient. It's just something I would like to do.
Not really, these people depend on me to be strong for them I can't collaspe in a heap just because I am dealing with this.
My Doctor today gave me a drug called "Lorazepam" and I feel better at least I am not howling into the dogs neck. I would call it a relaxed high.

At the moment it feels like I am hauling a ton of bricks on my left side with shooting pain. It's amazing what the mind does to you I didn' feel this bad before they told me the awful news. Mind over matter except my mind doesn't want to have a bar of it.
So I've missed a bit, tried to catch up a few times now, but it takes too long LOL

Been a bit busy so not as much free time while I'm there.

Been trying to train pups, and still get some sleep lol they are still only sleeping a few hours at a time and squealing and rowdy the rest of the time lol. In between work, naps, and them, I've been trying to get birthday gifts made for my mom and my nephew, they have birthdays 2 days apart and right after thanksgiving, haven't even started on christmas stuff yet.
Today I got a break from work to go to the dentist. Broke a bit off a molar a few weeks ago, got a temporary fix then and the temporary crown put on today, have to go back for the final one on the 10th. They had to cut part of my gums off because it had moved into the space where the tooth broke and I'm pretty sure they tried to unhinge my jaw while they were working. So now that whole side of my face and jaw just hurts.
And tomorrow starts thanksgiving dinner prep! At this point I don't even want to do thanksgiving... I just want to sleep for 3 days lol

Puppies are adorable, but a lot of work! I remember calling my mom in tears when my little guy was wee and saying I just want to sleep for 8 hours in a row! (Can you tell I don't have kids?) But in a little while you'll be past that, and you know it's so worth it!

My mom is having me bring a Olive Garden family salad......I think this means I can't cook and I was a chef...lol
No pain meds here, I didn't even ask. I either have a strangely high tolerance for pain meds or everything I've ever been given in the past just doesn't work for me
I have a bunch of generic percocet and some vicodin here, but it's never worked so it just sits in the cabinet, there have been a few times of desperation where I've tried them again, like when I had my tonsils out, but even taken along with desperate prayers for pain relief they still don't work lol. I know it will be a little better by morning and completely ignore-able by tomorrow evening Oh the puppies! LOL I'd be thrilled with 5 hours! I get 3hrs at a time max now, which is better than last week. Mom has taken them for a few nights, those have been wonderful lol. If I could just get them to get the potty training down everything would be so much better. Soon I hope!
