They handed out red, green, blue, and white watches at the door. At midnight the watches all lit up, and after that for the rest of the show they would light up synchronized with the music at different times depending on what color the watch was.
I just picked up oxygen yesterday. It is always fun to see the stamps put on the tanks to identify the original owner. This one is marked "Sooner Supplies, Inc. - Shawnee, OKLA"

game time tonight. patti and i are hitting okc for a thunder game tonight. before the game we are going tubing at bricktown ball park.... should be interesting being the snow is man made. anyhow, we got a great hotel and we are gonna try to do it up right tonight!!

I have been sick throwing up since yesterday afternoon, my son and daughter has too!! I am home today and can't eat anything, it won't stay down
My poor daughter had to go to her orientation today, she had to do a pee test......she is dehydrated from being sick and had to drink a lot of water to help. She was having a hard time keeping it down I am going back to my comfy couch.........see you all later

Party is Saturday tho and I'm kinda dreading it
Well.. I had originally suggested we rent out a space at the park and have the taco man cater there. My wife felt we didn't need to pay to rent out the space and asked my mother if we could have the party at her place.
Now, my mother's place is pretty F-ed up, there was a whole garage full of hoarder-like crap needing to go to goodwill, the backyard looks more like a furniture graveyard completely covered in leaves... and their is dog crap everywhere out there. Once I left the house everything just got steadily worse, though I can't say it was too pretty while I was there either. It is a large house and yard that needs multiple people to pitch in.
Anyway, my wife had been talking with my mother and more specifically her boyfriend, who had promised he and his buddies would take all that crap to goodwill and the dump and that he'd have the backyard "spick-n-span" by the party. Over the last couple months the Mrs has talked to him repeatedly and each time he said stuff like oh you should come see I have gotten so much work done on the house for the party.
So they bring me over to my mother's house Yesterday to check out how things are coming. My mother's boyfriend literally had not picked up a leaf. Not one thing was done around that house. Now everybody is ...... off and I'm just sitting here wishing I could say I told you so. So I spent all morning yesterday dragging a FULL 2 car garage of crap out to the curb to be picked up by Goodwill. Then proceeded to start pulling .... out of the yard and taking it to the dump.
Basically, we have already paid the caterer and for all the decorations. But there is at LEAST 2 weeks of work needing to go into that house before its ready for the party, and the party is this Saturday. The Mrs is there now trying to get THEIR laundry done and out of the room so guests can play pool. (There were literally about 10 loads of laundry creating a small mountain in her house) It just sucks and my wife was all crying yesterday because she thought they would have at least helped, but yesterday when we were there they all just stood around or hid in a ....ing corner. I knew we shouldn't have placed this responsibility with them, they are so horribly unreliable its sick. But my wife wanted to give them a chance and now because of our mistake to have faith in them, and their mistake of not doing a damn thing, my daughter's party will be what suffers.
Oh well, After last weekend they won't be babysitting my daughter either, as I got a call saying my mother was spotted carrying a a bottle of Crown and a 12-pack into her house the night she was supposed to babysit, and the next day I never could find that bottle. So ya, no babysitting there, and after this party and the baby shower fiasco, no events there either. It sucks because they are my family, but I refuse to let their poor drinking decisions and general ....-it-all lets party attitudes to poison my daughter's childhood.
