Good afternoon all!

Steeping question: I typically steep my juices by putting them in a cool dark place, with the cap on. I've seen several videos saying to leave the cap off. What do y'all do?
Depends on the juice and how long I feel I can wait for it. I've got one I steep for a month, 1st week cap on, second week cap off, then cap on for two more. When I don't leave the cap off for a week it takes about 2 months to get to the level of flavor I like to vape it at. I have a few that I steep for a day or 2 cap off and they're good to go and a few I can leave the cap on for. Mine sit on a dresser top in the spare room, it's always dark in there and since I rarely go in there, less chance of me knocking it over.
Just a tip- if you plan on steeping several open top at the same time, put anything with cinnamon in it in a separate room, it likes to invade all other juice flavors :glare:

Thanks, DD. So basically, there's no one answer and leaving the top off ages the juice faster than leaving the top on? I generally quick steep my juice: I heat water in the microwave, put the juices in a plastic bag and let them soak in the hot water until the water cools. Then if they're still not good, I put them closed in a cabinet. I like your idea of using the spare bedroom though; when I open the cabinet, the aroma's sometimes almost overwhelming, lol.

Yep, pretty much no one answer. Like I said, I have different methods and different time frames for all juices. Also it seems the more flavor notes in the juice, the more time it takes to really blend, at least in my experience, those are the ones that seem to benefit from the open cap steeping the most. I haven't tried the quick steep, but I'm sure someday I'll run out of my favorite that's all steeped and I'll try it :)

thanks delilah. still getting used to my new computer. it loaded right side up onto the computer, but sideways onto the post.

Some programs auto rotate images when you view them on your computer but not change the orientation of the saved file. Maybe that's what yours is doing.

You're just wonderful OWB... Thank you very much! I'll shoot you a PM :D
Yes, I usually let it soak for about 5 minutes... maybe I've been a bit impatient since experiencing duds! I'll have to time myself again  Thanks Willow
Yes I am prefill using the condom method too and let it soak... but I may have lost patience this morning ... I'll go back to the 7 half turns to make sure ;) Thanks Sashiekins!

Hey Delilah, just thought about...Do you take a couple hard draws without pressing the button before you fire up and start vaping? I do that just to make sure that the juice has been pulled into the coil. Just a thought. Of coarse sometimes we just get dud cartos. OK that's all the advice I'm giving today, hehe. I do good just to "do what I say".....mmmmm wonder where I've heard that before.....oh that's right, my mom use to say that to me all the time when I was growing up and I seem to remember hearing those words come outta my mouth a few times, just ask my kids.
