Art Glass Drip Tips

I like that idea HZ. I would be interested to read that as well.
Oh man, between the sale and my trip out of town I have totally blown the budget or else this little guy would be coming home with me!
Must have updated the site today because 1/2 of those tips didn't show up yesterday or I would have got that one!
Whoever picked it up is quite the lucky one.
And if they are on this thread and decide they don't want it at some point, please let me know, I promise I could give it a very good and loving home.

I like the idea of the artists' histories -- and samples of your work. What about: a poster/photo spread of an example each artist's staring at the sun/most exceptional tip (as if each only has one. . .yeah, right
); an article/piece about the multiple groups & the strong sense of community & support that vapers share; an informational piece about what separates TTs from other glass tip artists; a piece on the different vaping experiences one may have using different tip styles (cooler vs. warmer vapes; the nifty donut or helix to minimize spitty atomizers; etc.).

Yesterday I saw a piece of glass artwork, but was unable to find out who the artist was and I'm trying to figure out how I would find something like this. I will try to explain the best I can.
It was a piece of wall art made into a 4 paned window frame. In each pane of the frame objects in a certain color of glass were melted together. So one pane was all red objects, anything from glass beads, to perhaps a small broken red glass candle holder, so that it ended up being one piece of red glass, but in 3D and you could make out what some of the objects had been.
I don't know if that makes sense at all, but I've been googling away trying to find something similar with no luck. It was backlit and absolutely amazing looking.
Any suggestions?

fused glass art? something about recycled glass or reclaimed glass? I found one site from another: Recycled Glass Bottles or Daniel Maher Stained Glass: Gallery of Commissioned Windows.
Thank you. Googling recycled glass art is getting me closer, though nothing is quite as breathtaking as this piece was.

Well folks, looks like times are about to get tough around here. My new boss that I liked so much, got a call yesterday from the CEO telling him to resign or else. It's only a matter of time before they swallow the rest of my department up too. Im going to be selling off all of my collections to make sure Im set for when it happens. What a nightmare.
well, I'm home sick from work for the second day in a room. I think I was infected by a mosquito born disease from cleaning out the fire pit over the weekend. My symptoms best meet the symptoms of westnile virus. the headache, neck pain, and muscle aches are gone today, as are the shaking chills. no lasting neuro effects, which is a good thing.

The fire pit was built for me by a Umass masters student from Africa. I don't think anyone else could have done it, Sorry white guys from America, but I think anyone else would have balked. I love that thing and it went way beyond what I imagined. I'll post another pic when I have it fired up again. We had heavy rain last night, so I'm sure it's filled with water. Someone from VF suggested pouring some clorox in it. I think I'll do that!
True Blood was great. I think the last two seasons lost their way in the weirdness. Sunday's episode rocked.

I almost kept that flame TrippyTip! It was from Jackie's original batch, but was rejected and sent back to her workshop to be fixed. I begged her to please fix it and bring it back because it is so stunning I would have hated to see it sit on her bench indefinitely! Needless to say I had a hard time letting it go again, but I am glad it is going to live it up in Las Vegas when all is said and done!
