Almost five months in:

In the past, I've expressed my opinion that I preferred KR808 over 510. Right now, and for the past several weeks, I've really been digging 510s (TorneGo and kensington powered). I think I also expressed a displeasure at the LR atomizers once or twice. I've second thought that one too.

I was pretty wild about my Kissbox in the beginning. Both batteries died, to what seemed to me to be a premature death. They were not available for several months. Now they are, but I've delayed replacing them, at $17 apiece.

I've got several PVs which I haven't touched in a couple months.

I've gotten into DIY juices. And, made some which turned out pretty dayum good. A few failures One of them taste (smell) like cat piss. Does anyone want the recipe?

As I settle into vaping, I find myself still spending a fair amount of time on the forum ... but, less time talking about vaping.

I'm sure other things will come to mind after I hit submit.

How about you? How have things changed as vaping became "less new" to you?

Always thought a juice dispensing PV would be tops, then I got away from that - stopped looking, then the 'wetbox' showed up - clean looking bottom feeder, well thought out and I like it a lot.

I also wrote off 510 LR's after burning out a few rather quickly, but now using them on megas and the TorneGo work rather well - still need to keep them soaked. The LR 801 rekindled my love affair for the Janty Stick and the V3 matte black and styling is part of that.

Never dripped, until the delrin drip tips. Now a standard part of the LR 510s and the 5V and wetbox cartoz.

Went through the KR8/cartoz experiment and don't plan on any return there. Although the wetbox and 5V Bart handle the 510 cartoz rather well - again - keep them soaked on the 5V. Occasionally put the 901 on the 5V and like it better than on 3.7v.

The Bartleby still remains as the standard vape - 14500/510 is a marriage made in vapor heaven. Although the TorneGo was surprisingly a great development for beginners and vets, imo.

I don't obsess over it as much... I needed to obsess at first, to quiet that panicking, screaming little monkey that lives in the back of my head, and wanted a freaking cigarette right NOW. He's screaming about something else, now. :)

I'm no longer surprised when people aren't even willing to try something that could save their lives, even if it's given to them for free... they write the whole thing off as a "rip-off", "gimmick", "doesn't work", "another addiction, just as bad as smoking", etc., etc... It's amazing to see someone instantly form a strong opinion about something when they have zero knowledge about it, and no desire to learn anything. Well, it used to amaze me. Now I expect it. None of that (and a lot more) surprises me at all now.

I'm no longer desperately searching for the "perfect mod" that will solve all of my problems. I recognize that no mod, and no amount of money, can replace simply learning how to vape well. Only experience, patience, and experimentation can do that. Now I'm just casually interested in buying mods with a certain amount of "cool-ness factor".

Lots more, but no need to write a novel. :)
