All these positive articles are very good. Except for one thing that ultimately ruin the credibility of them. They are produced by e-cig distributors.

To play a little devils advocate here, we need to get these type of press releases out on verifiable news sites. We also need to remove the link back to an electronic cigarette distributor. ASHs counter argument is they lack merit simply because of the distributors vested interest.

Just sayin'. Good article though.

Which is hypocritical on ASH's part, since ASH has a vested interest in both the banning of the ecig and smoking bans, due to the funding they receive from Pfizer. (I know you already know this, just putting it out there ;) )

And I do agree with you 110%. ASH has every reason to see the e-cig demise. We all know that smoking is one of the leading causes of ED (Erectile Disfunction) and we all KNOW what Pfizer makes. ;)

Who else is going to write them?

Reporters have no interest in doing a "Yeah, they are ok" piece. They want "Yeah, it'll kill you"

So except for press releases, how else are articles going to be written and out there?

I'm not so sure about the "ultimately" part. The material they are quoting isn't from within their own companies. Granted, it is always best to come from groups who don't have a vested interest but I rather see the quoted material be quoted as often as possible, regardless of the reporting source.

The article merely goes to validate the widely held opinion that A.S.H. is governed by ......, ......s and money whores. How they can even hold their views and keep a straight face defies belief. ASH is more like a fascist organisation than a legitimate concern.

Not just that, but their ideology is a dangerous one. Most, if not all, of their beliefs come from the hand of that power-driven demented Banzhaf, and not through any sort of scientific data to back up their claims.

A good example is they say that the CDC reported that 30 minutes of exposure of tobacco smoke triggers fatal heart attacks. Yet there is absolutely no link to anything the CDC said officially that substantiates that outlandish claim. None whatsoever. Yet, ASH is using the Centers for Disease Control as a source for a health alert, one the CDC NEVER EVEN MADE.

Stuff like this is dangerous, because it will confuse the public and cloud any sort of scientific truth.

The other dangerous aspect is they advocate not allowing smoking parents visitation rights even if they SMOKE OUTSIDE. Plus encourage bringing up the subject of smoking in court during custody battles. You have to PAY to find these tidbits out, though. $$$CACHING$$

Another outlandish claim was that a smokers breath can also be harmful to a non smokers health. Again, NO scientific evidence to back it up.

List goes on. But people fall for it and as long as there is any more $$CACHING$$, Banzhaf will make any outlandish claim he wants and site any source he wants even if the story is a bold faced lie.

I should go sit in front of Banzhalfs office and vape my head off.

Banzhaf is living proof of the claim that if you tell the same lie enough times people will start to believe it. I just cannot believe that he actually gets paid to put this vomit out in the public domain.

True, and I believe I read that ASH has absorbed $47 million in donations from Pfizer... just goes to prove the old saying, "Money talks and BS...", no wait, "Money buys BS..."
