Funny, but taking smoking off airplanes has probably COST more lives than it has saved. That's because airlines no longer run fresh air through the cabin when not in flight. So, everyone is breathing stale air full of bacteria and viruses others have exhaled. Second hand smoke with fresh air packs running all the time is probably a healthier option, especially since there is no real evidence second-hand smoke is really a problem. vaping is probably better still because it's an anticeptic for the air!
