Or possibly fry the functionality without actually damaging the parts--at least that's how it seems in my case
So, is it true that DCC's can take voltages up to 5v or is that just bs? I've read on some vendor sites that they can go up to 5v.

I got an ego batt in a trade, they said it was new and I only charged it 3 times, now the light comes on but know matter what carto I put on it it wont vape. Also the charger that was "new" gets real hot like it could catch fire. Could the charger have fried the batt?
