Hey, guys. So, this is my first post and I just want to get some info. I have been on ego's for a while, and decided to get myself a nice mechanical mod. I just ordered the Kamry KTS I believe V2. I would like to get info about cleaning, and what to do when I first get the mod. It's coming with two 18650 batteries, should I charge one before I even use the mod? Or can I just begin vaping as soon as I fill the tank? Any other additional info about Kamry KTS V2 upkeep, and how you guys like it/general performance is appreciated, keep vaping, dudes, and thanks for the help.

Cheers :)

Well if you have a DVOM you can check the voltage output of the battery this will tell you if the batteries are good to use out of the box. Clean the tank to atty threads once in a while q-tips work well for this. Clean the rest of the threads off weekly because they will collect pocket lint, dust and tiny metal shavings

hello gray_world, welcome to all the fun at ECF

not into 'mechs' so not much help with your new Kamry KTS V2

just wanted to say glad you finally showed up :rickroll:

Haha, thanks, I'm guessing you're into VV/VW? I plan on getting into that sometime, but for now I wanna try a mechanical and see how I like it, plus all my ego's kind of broke. Bad luck, I guess. Anyhow, thanks for the warm welcome :)

I'm about to get the kts myself. Some really great prices on it right now. Make sure to get aw imr batteries and if you do want to venture into the variable wattage (which is better than voltage) get a "kick" and put it in there an you can go up to 10 watts which is plenty enough for the most part. That's what I'm doing! How are you liking the kts?

You were right about those batteries, the ones that come with the starter kit are trash, after the first charge they over heated. BUT it's an excellent mod, feels good and solid in the hands and delivers a great vape. Have fun vaping it :)
