Hey guys, first post. Been lurking and vaping for several months. I have a KTS storm on it's way from fast tech and I already have my kick. My question/topic is about the kick extensions mostly and the kamry resettable fuse. Who else has them and what do you think? I'm looking to order these two items from sunnyvapes and was wondering if there were alternative places to order these items from since they're closed until the 5th..

Lastly as far as resettable fuses go what's the best bang for your buck? I know there are plenty of other options out there but for $5 that Kamry one is appealing (and no I don't need a lecture about how my safety is worth spending extra money on lol) if it's worth a damn. Looking forward to the feedback!

So it sounds like your ready to pay $5 bucks on a clone fuse that doesn't have much of a track record yet, but your worried about safety because your buying a fuse.........but your not so worried that your willing to spend an extra $10 bucks for an established product with a track record of performance and safety? Whats so appealing about the kamry fuse other then it costs $5?

Probably not going to get a lot of feedback in the New Members Forum and may need to post in the Mech Forum to get some knowledgeable responses. I haven't used this fuse. My reaction when I saw it was that I'd rather have it than not have it, but that's not based on any research or the experience of others yet. Wanted to chime in here and give you a bump, so others may be able to help you.

Sorry my first response was probably a little too harsh, I haven't seen or heard anything positive or negative as far as the kamry fuse is concerned. Theoretically you don't really need a fuse if your using a kick as it has built in low voltage cut off and short detection and cut off. The only thing it doesn't protect against is reversed polarity, which would only fry the kick and not cause the battery to melt down. I'm not sure how or if an inline fuse would protect against that.

it's reusable and from the same site I want to make my next order from thus saving me shipping. Silly I guess but I guess you answered my question more or less.

Thanks. I just made this thread to kinda get my posting started, didn't think about the whole nooby situation

No worries I have thick skin and that's good to know I actually never knew the kick had short protection, I guess it wouldn't hurt to have one in case I get a mod that wont fit the kick. As I stated in the first post what do you think the best fuse is for the money? I don't mind spending more if there's a good deal running. Also everything I've seen so far about fuses on ECF seems a bit inconclusive since fuses rarely trip.

Also would adding a fuse with a kick save the kick during a short?
