Does anyone know if the Colossal has reverse battery protection? Back in the day I burnt a lot of e power switches because of this.
Welcome to the Nut House!!! :w00t: It's always nice to see new inpatients, ooops, I mean members here.
I am one of the certifiable Lunatics ...o_O... occasionally the mods let me out but not often. If you see my dog just toss her a treat. She is friendly and helpful. Oh and watch for Missy, she has horns and is kind of funny too. @AngeNZ can show you to Missy's yard.

Anyhow, getting very serious now (I don't like too but I do).

The Colossal has the following protections...

Reverse polarity battery protection
Under-voltage protection of battery (mod stops working at ~2.8)
Over-voltage battery protection
Low resistance protection
High resistance protection
Short circuit protection
Thermal protection (over-temperature protection for chips)

Tip: When you insert, or remove, your battery push up on the battery from the bottom towards the top and slide in/out. Some have experienced torn battery wraps by not pushing up.

Hope that helps :D

So hopefully only one more question.

Which batteries do you feel is best for this mod. (colossal 80w).

I have plenty of efest 3000mah 35A high drain 18650 flat top that are fairly new. But I am not happy with them anymore.
I love the song Jersey Girl by one of my favorite musicians. "Cause down the shore everything's all right"

Batteries yes ... I like the Molicel P26A's and Mooch has them rated as the best all around 18650. I also like and use LG HG2's as BigBob2322 mentioned and Samsung 25R's. All are excellent batteries.

See here: Mooch's Recommended Batteries | E-Cigarette Forum

Hope that helps! :)

I've used Samsung 25r, Samsung 30q and lg hg2 in mine. Here's Missy & her baby Bobby ;)

Yep it's the gunmetal. It's barely left my hand since I got it ;)

@DeloresRose , or anyone else, do you have the asMODus Lustro?
    Is it a good one?
    Do you like it?
    Thank you ...

Yes. On the right. Love it. It’s big, but the Kodama isn’t heavy. I just ordered a regular one because it’s a great vape. That will weigh more, but the vapor range sale I paid about $36! How could I pass that up?

Received my Colossal grey matte finish yesterday.
So far I am loving it. Touch screen is easy to use.
Great vape. Its got some weight to it. But hey my biceps need a work out.:)
I have been using innokin zenith tank with it and love that the vapor is cooler on this mod. First time I have been happy with that tank.

They really packed a lot into a small package.

The only challenge I have had it getting the battery door off. no biggie as I am sure it will loosen up.

    One very happy vapor.
