My mistake, I do apologize!
:toast:

No reason to apologize.

I think my son was so excited about the trip, that he didn't give much thought to spending money while he was there, and he doesn't have a great sense of how little expenses add up. At least he did plan for the week of classes he's missing and even took his tests & submitted his papers early. I very happy about that.

Ok, Axiom, I'm here. Sounds like you're looking at a Lemo v1? You can find them for about $16 these days. I love mine. Its a versatile tank. It can tootle puff or mod womp. There is room for dual coils or a Clapton, and the airflow is very adjustable.

I check my airflow on a new Lemo before I fill it. Just leave off the 510 base and put it flat on your palm and draw through it. Then adjust as you wish and repeat until youre happy with the draw. Putting a 4 x 2 o ring over the afc ring will keep it from moving.

yeah and it's all @Robert Cromwell 's fault ---- My mental manipulation backfired on me -- I was trying to get him to become a modwomper and instead I got brainwashed and became a tootle puffer?? lol ( he used reverse psychology on me )

Actually, when I started vaping, I started out tootle puffing but because I had inferior gear, I didn't get much enjoyment out of it and went to the powerful mods and tanks right away ----- If I would have known a little more back then all as I would of had to do was mix up the proper juice for mouth to lung and modify the tootle tank a bit and I would have been satisfied..... But, I lacked the experience back then and went straight into the large mods.... You are correct about the juice consumption as well....Not only have I quad-tripled my battery life but I have greatly reduced my juice consumption. I was burning through about 15ml - 20ml per day with my large tanks but now I am only going through about 4 ml per day and I tootle puff most of the day! That's a huge saving. I always knew I would save on battery life and juice and this is why I decided to try tootling again.... Only this time I got things adjusted correctly and am actually enjoying tootling........ I don't need massive amounts of clouds... I do like to have as much vapor as I used to have while smoking and now that I have my tank fixed up properly I definitely get as much vapor as I got smoke when I used to smoke (actually even more)....... So, between the good vapor and throat hit, I am satisfied. I don't know what on earth I am going to do with my large, fancy, cloud blowing tanks now but they will probably collect rust now.
Send them to me. lol

I think, I hope, you like it. Here's another, more obscure tootle-able tank to look at -- and, it's $10, so it a frugal tootle. I like this one a lot, too. Really well made.

Maybe I should step up to one of those. Still using the ismoka bcc 3.5 - for 2 1/2 years now.

I'm vaping it right now, but read my cautionary not just after that post. I wouldn't recommend it at all as a first RTA, just 'cause it's so finicky.

Guess I'll stick with the iSmoka's. lol. Coils are over $3 now. GRRRR
I used to use the Kangers but I'm such a clutz I'd break them. :(

No, sweetie. :)There's a boat load of options between sticking with something that requires $3 coils and getting the AGA-T5 as a first RTA. (for a second one, I'd say go for it).

When I decided to go into engineering, my father (the engineer) told me I didn't have enough mechnical aptitude to change the eraser on a mechanical pencil. Whether that's true or not, the first time I built a coil for an RTA, it worked just fine.

Coils were probably not my biggest expenditure for consumables, but it was the purchase that brought me the least joy. And, if I ran out, and had to purchase one at the B&M, they were $5. I figured even at $2, one a week, my operating cost for a Nautilus mini was over $100 a year. And, RTAs are flexible -- you can tootle-puff, mod-womp, or chase clouds to your heart's content.

And, cheap! The Lemo (v1) that @AXIOM_1 was considering is $17.99 at ecigity. I suggest shopping around for something that tickles your fancy.

If you don't mind spending some money, the squape r or rs, are excellent rtas! They are expensive, but you only have to buy it once. Easiest build deck ever!! Airflow control is good, large tank capacity, and changeable decks to suit your different vaping needs. Just don't bother with the clones of these, I don't have clones, but I've heard some bad stories.
