Does a supreme being for the universe exist? Perhaps, but I personally do not believe that it does.
I personally believe that all gods throughout human history were created by man to cope with fears of the unknown and to control others.

But there's only one, that came to earth, and died for you. Loved you that much. Saw you, before you were even born. Knew everything about you before you even existed. Yes, only one. Christ came back to life. That's what's different than any other religion. But, it really doesn't matter what I say, just do me a favor. Before you go to sleep tonight, close your eyes. Ask Him if He exists. And, if He does, to help you feel better. That's all. Simple enough?

I was brought in in the religion of the JIm and Tammy Baker, Jimmy Swaggert and Sarah Palin.
I was taught that everything they did not want you to do was a sin.

I could not believe in god then and I still cannot.
I do not have that "god shaped hole'" in my mind.
I have no heroes, never did.

But that's the problem. EVERYONE sins. All the high and mighty people telling you that they are perfect and you are NOT. It's just a façade. It's completely against God's teachings. No one is "perfect". None. Let that go. Does it really matter what other "people" think? You are much smarter than that.

Just nuke em all and let God sort em out was heard from the lips of many/most professed christians in this country after the 911 tragedy....
Jesus would never condone that. But many religious leaders did and still do.

Violence only begets violence and hatred and fear. Fear is a major driving influence and tool in current US society. This is wrong and will only escalate our downward spiral into chaos.

On the ex not being an ex I got fed up and finally said listen I have been proving I have changed. You see that and now we either move forward or we are waiting time. On the friends well I may be in a mental ward but I am not all that upset because I have some people who are good around.

I keep thinking that in the whole of eternity, in this universe and maybe other universes beyond numbers,

I will most likely be going because in my state of you are suicidally depressed the state has the right to hold you for up to 48 hours for observation. And a friend can phone this in and you will get dragged in. So yeah. I explained how bad I have been doing and Amanda is a nice person but overreacts. (My friends fiance)
