figures --- you obviously never lived around here for sure. Like yourself, the first time I ever learned about turtle soup I about gagged as people don't eat such things in Montana where I am from.
I actually grew up around turtle soup and my uncle buddy cleans his own turtles. Cajuns will eat almost anything. Lol

yeah I am aware -- that's why they use so much spice so that they don't have to actually taste the weird things that they eat :w00t:

Wood Muscles: ---- Have some of you folks ever worked so much with a substance that your muscles began to take on the physical properties of the substance that you are working on? I am almost done with that building and I have also been hauling tons of wood in a wheel barrow as my truck broke and as a consequence my poor muscles are becoming as hard as the wood is  I go through this all of the time as I am constantly working with trees/wood and you would think that a "normal" person would get sort of used to it. But, then again, I am not normal. Maybe I am just getting older and the work is effecting me more or something. But if I remember correctly it has always effected me like this. I only know that if I don't hurry and get my wood that I will have ice hanging off my a*s and -40 below zero temps to deal with.

EDIT: Please pass the sore muscle rub -- Icy-hot, blu emu?

Dang. You probably need to get a sock, fill it with uncooked rice, tie it up, and nuke it till it's warm. Like a mini heating pad. Works like a charm!
