Howdy all. I've been reading this thread with great interest. I'm only up to about page 8. Hard to keep up.
Many years ago I read a book called "Son Rise" about a boy with severe non-functioning autism and his parents who had a particular unconventional approach. The philosophy with which they interacted with their son eventually changed my life to a huge degree. Today, that boy is an adult with a very high IQ and is the Director of the Son Rise Autism program at the Option Institute in Sheffield, MA The author is Barry Neil Kaufman. If there is any interest, check out Autism Treatment Center of America - Option Institute
The book is still available through option.org or used on any online BN.com kinda site.
The story is amazing and inspiring.

Ya I'll look too.
Thank you.

Ugh somebody talk me out of getting a Vaporshark DNA 200....Laborday sale for $159, free shipping...my head is screaming "buy it", but it's also screaming "wait a couple months for the CloudMaker Whiteout," f m l and my impulsivity and my desire to have all things new and shiny lol

Don't do it! <---- There, I tried talking you out of it............ But, you know you really want to give into your compulsion, so why not just buy it? Hey, I got a better idea .... you can satisfy your compulsion and help a fellow vaper out in one whack .... All you have to do is compulsively buy it, then send it to me :)

Haha I've been waiting for a while to buy a new mod, I'm still vaping on my OG Sigelei 100w (non-self adjusting 510), the CloudMaker Whiteout specifically, because it supports both the SX350J & DNA 200 chipsets. It's $199.99, but they're still in production so I think it'd be a cpl months before they came out. The special thing about that mod is that it's modular in design, so the box it's in is really just like a modular synth aka plug n play components. If I bought the DNA version I could buy their SX kit and unscrew a few leads, pop the chip out & LiPo pack out, put the SX chip & battery sled in, screw in the leads, and have a completely different mod that takes 2 18650's. But I could always buy that later down the line. Buying the Vaporshark would be kind of impulsive, but not really, since I haven't bought a new VW mod since November. I have no TC mod's, and dam, for $159+7 for the 2 amp brick is a pretty good deal to me. I mean I've been eyeing the Hyon Pugio RDA since prerelease (it's been a couple months now, haven't pulled the trigger) and that atty sells for $149 lol.

Yep, you have shinyitis -- it is now confirmed :) Well, your thoughts are cool anyway as that sounds great...... You sure like the high end stuff for sure......... My brother just bought me the IPV4S and I was rather surprised by how well the TC works on the thing compared to when TC first came out. It seems they have many of the old flaws with TC all ironed out now... It's a 120 watt device which is way more than this dude will ever use. I took it up to 60 watts yesterday and it about blew my lungs up like a balloon lol ... I don't imagine I will ever be using all 120 watts.

I think the modular design will be awesome for you.

I bought my father an IPV4 for his birthday back at the NJ Vape expo. He updated it to 120w, and I've tried it out, pretty cool mod. I'm probably going to pick up a Vaporshark for $159...I mean why not?
And yes I'm into high end stuff, but I don't have much of it. I like to take my time with my decisions. It's like me with tattoos, I won't get a tattoo unless I've thought it through for atleast 5-6 months and have drawn it out myself (rough sketch atleast, I trust my tattoo artist, he's never failed me in all of the 9 I have). As for high end stuff, the highest end stuff I have are my Dotmod Petri RDA, authentic AV Peg mod, authentic Dimitri mod (bought it off a friend used bc he didn't like it, thought it was too heavy), and my Hobo v3.1 rda which I got for $50 at the NJ expo.

Everything else I own is pretty normal, a Fuhattan, mutation x v3, v4, doge v2, Atlantis v2, Sapor - which I'll say don't ever buy a Sapor - a sig100w, sig50w vr2, IPV mini, and a Provari P2.5 mini which I got for free. I pretty much only use my sig50w for my Atlantis tank. Buuuut considering the DNA 200 reads 316 stainless steel as a TC wire, I can use the aspire triton coils in the Atlantis on TC mode.

Considering the Whiteout was supposed to drop like pretty much now-ish, which was stated in May/June, but has been delayed, I kinda wanna jump on this sale and get it for 20% off. Then I can focus on my next atty :D which I've been internally debating for a while between the Pugio, Aeolus v2, 528 Customs Monster V3 (super modded kayfun, I'll prolly buy it along with an atty), Kennedy 24, or a Black&Gold Twisted Messes Atty. Anybody got any suggestions on which atty?

I don't have any place to go to to hide :(

Aaack Dremel  I have purchased so many dremels I ought to have stock in the Company... I don't know what it is but every time I get one I use it a couple of times and it falls apart on me? I think maybe I am trying to use them for too big of jobs or something. I love dremels but they don't love me :(

    What kind of jobs?
I saw a guy polishing the fake chrome on his car with a dremel once.
    That's dedication.
I just let my car rust.
    Rust don't polish.
('05 fjord targus for sale. .... cheep)

This is a larger dremel type tool. variable speed but much more heavy duty than a dremel. I also have an air powered dremel type tool about the size of a cigar.

Yeah I sort of figured that may be a possibility........ My poor dremels have never made it too long. Maybe some day I will get a better quality one.

Ohh I ran thru several genuine dremels too in the past. Will never buy another genuine one, in this case clones are better than original.

I've decided to not give in and get the Vaporshark 200. I'm gonna stick it out for the whiteout DNA 200, as Vaporshark is saying that they're going to start shipping their DNA 200 mods on the 3rd week of September and CloudMaker is still full on for late September as of the 2nd. It's like when you take your SAT's and you go with your first answer which is usually the right answer and then second guess yourself for a bit for the wrong answer. Except this is me being impulsive and seeing "oohh Vaporshark sale!" Screw it, the whiteout is worth the extra $40. Without the Laborday sale they're both the same price anyways.

 You mean you're not giving in to your compulsion?

Not me. My answers were always wrong no matter what. :)

You need to stay like me and be chronically impulsive. I don't want to be alone in this
