I get sick of apologizing for causing offense when I don't understand what I did to offend people. I'll make a joke and nobody gets it. Or I say something and don't realize that it was "improper". . . blah. . . then people get cranky about it and want me to apologize for something they're probably just being to sensitive about. grrrr.

Story of my life. And part of the reason o have a tough time working with other people. Like just leave me be and I will keep at it.

Some SSRIs/SNRIs have anxiolytic effects. Paxil (paroxetine) is one of them. I take a low does every night before bed for anxiety. It's the only drug in that class that I can tolerate.

That's a very common side effect with SSRIs/SNRIs. Buspar (buspirone) is something you can try. It's an anxiolytic that is NOT a benzo.

Wellbutrin (bupropion) is also good for anxiety/depression without the sad peeper side effects.

I am on Buspirone as well................... Works very well for reducing fears etc...

Paxil....Yuck! If you ask me (which you didn't) most of these toxic pharmaceuticals are just that ---- TOXIC...
Most of this crap is killing folks more than it is helping them.......... I can guarantee you that if I was to quit taking Xanax right now that I would withdrawal big time, even though I am on a very tiny dosage. The reason is because I have been on it for quite a few years.

Then of course, the ole liver and the rest of the body has to deal with all of the burden of the junk. Phooey on all of the man made pharms. Just a bunch of poisons in my opinion.

I have tried about every drug that has ever came down the pike and so from experience I know what they are like.... Yes you are correct in that they do help too some degree but that is the extent of it.... In my line of thinking the human body was not designed to have a bunch of foreign and toxic chemicals dumped into it. But, you are correct, they can and do help in situations otherwise I would not be taking all of the drugs I am taking.
