Eh no one had time to yell. I set the eyelet machine to run and 16,000 pounds of pressure crushed the punch and launched it. Cleaning up the carnage I had to spin the die in something that looks like a lathe and it caught the stick on the inside of the Chuck. I ....ing dove when that happened.

Me talk some then hide some.
Decades ago I started talking to some people, but very few. Little by little, more and more, but still VERY selective about who'd I tell what to.

A lot of my problems are very diffucult for people to understand, and much of my opening up backfires. I still try, selectively, to help some people understand me better, but not enough. It does help me have a more open mind that leads me to a bit more understanding of other people. I still mostly hide, though.

I have no diagnoses, but I love this thread! If the whole world was this kind of messed up normal, we would all be better off. I feel a lot of what is talked about, but lead an overly social life. Funny thing for me is that I find it hard to jump in here.

You do not have to have a diagnosis of anything -- jump right on in whenever you like. The forum and this thread in particular is for everyone. Just because we may be slightly "different" does not mean it should scare you away or lead you to be shy. You can talk about vaping, medical/psyche problems or whatever you want. Please come on in the water is fine :)

I am a mechanic out of necessity not enjoyment. Cheaper and better quality if I do it myself. I don't do front end alignments nor rebuild automatic transmissions or bore and mill but do everything else including paint and body work.

Push the limits? I guess that is just not me I like to play it safe I guess. I NEVER like to attract attention to my self or be the center of attention.

I don't because I am quite mechanically challenged to put it mildly -- plus I own very little automotive tools. It is impossible to work on vehicles without the correct tools. I do have construction tools for building houses that I am using on the construction of my own house but those help very little in regards to auto mechanics :)

My dad's rule was: Before you can get your license you have to be able to fix anything that will strand you by the side of the road. So I know how to do the basics myself, and I've helped do alternators, fuel pumps, exhaust lines, brake lines, two engine cylinders and a head gasket. o_O
