I can't --- err I mean I am stupid and always do stupid things and get hurt

You're not stupid, and you know it. The whole nail in the hand thing was a freak accident. Next time you need to lift, get help or use a block and tackle or some such.

I'm good, thanks for asking. :)

So.. AXIOM, did you get the beam up?
If not, you can probably pull it up into place with ropes, by yourself... if you do it right... and after you heal up...

Thanks for the tip but, yes, I did get it up and into place --- I was so mad (and determined) that I got it up into place despite my injuries -- I wasn't hurting as bad yesterday as I am today? I got another one just like it to do on the other side but there is no way in h*ll I can do any work today for sure --- It's going to have to wait until I heal up.

No, that's not true -- err I mean they (psychiatrists) say that I am very intelligent but yet I often am very stupid in certain areas and one of those areas is in common sense --- every since I was a young kid everyone has always told me I have not much common sense --- I have worked hard for years trying to improve on that but somehow I don't think I am making major strides.

I don't know if I told you guys (I can't remember) but something happened to me at age 26 which didn't help me out either --- I started getting very sick, losing weight, headaches all of the time etc... Finally went to the Doctor and they discovered I had a brain tumor (benign) -- they didn't do anything at first as they wanted to monitor the thing in order to see if it would continue to grow or stay dormant -- one day I woke up in the morning and I had about half the sight in one of my eyes -- I was quite "freaked out" to put it mildly because I knew that it was the tumor that was causing it. Then the next morning when I woke up I had lost 100% of the vision in that eye and was totally blind in it. So, I went back to the neurologist and he got ahold of one of the top neurosurgeons in salt Lake City and scheduled me for emergency surgery --- to make a long story shorter, that miserable brain tumor really jacked me up -- I permanently lost all vision in my left eye and am totally blind in it.... If you blow up my avatar larger and take a close look you will notice that my left eye (right eye in the photo) looks like it is wandering a bit -- that's because it is as I am blind in it.

Anyway, that miserable tumor and surgery not only cost me half of my eyesight but it caused some of my neurologic problems as well -- Yes, I had Asperger's and ADD before all of that but it certainly doesn't help me when I am working on things and only have vision in one eye. I don't have depth perception like normal people have and it causes me to have accidents quite often

Oh my! That's a lot to deal with for anyone, AXIOM.

    ...and
All the more reason to slow yourself down (I know the ADD makes that really hard for you) and think your projects through.

'Cause we really like having you around. :w00t:

What do we do with you my friend?
I like the padded suit idea.

I'm like you, I work, I get hurt.
Lol, the last time I did my front brakes, I pulled the car off the jack, it bent me in half.
I was out for a week.
I feel for you. Just be safe.
If I'm not on too much, please forgive me.
Stress has been bad, I'm working through real strong anxiety right now.
I'm grateful for my missus who keeps me grounded, and let's me know she is my best friend.
    Sappy?
    Yes.
    Also very true!
Plus she supports my vape habit/obsession/life style/obsession.
(Yeah, twice. ... I'm that bad)
    Will I'm off.
    Just wanted to say hi.
    And I'll be back soon.

I have a tall aluminum ladder I use when building things --- Anyway, yesterday I had built a rather large support beam which is 16 feet long and weighs several hundred pounds. Naturally I have no help (as usual) and do everything by myself and I had to install this support beam horizontally across the top of building I am constructing --- I was on top of that miserable ladder trying to lift that heavy support beam into place when all of a sudden the ladder legs bent from all of the extra weight of the beam plus my weight, and everything including me went crashing to the ground. The heavy beam landed on me plus when I hit the ground I ended up smashing into the ladder with my face and caving my entire ladder in ---- My arm and back got damaged somehow and I can barely walk today from all of the pain.

I probably should have went to the Doctor from that nasty fall but I imagine they are getting sick of seeing me. My back is all bruised and so is my right arm as well as my chest :( A bunch of my muscles feel like they are pulled or stretched.
    Oh my gosh! That's awful!

I'm home today. Woke up last night with a bad anxiety attack. Long story short, I have to go in and get some shots in my neck and they are putting me out. So I haven't been able to eat or drink anything since 7 this morning and I'm scared!
I have someone bringing me so at least I've got that covered. But I just couldn't deal with going to work today and stressing along with starving. At least I can vape. :tumble:
