well they have a charging port on there that was causing lots of battery issues and so they removed it in the "s" version -- they also had some issues with the screen and the chip that they resolved. The "s" version has all of the problems and bugs fixed that were in the regular ipv4 version.

absolutely --- it's very easy to operate --- yep you can use regular tanks with regular coils on the thing --- just about every tank possible fits on to the thing as it has a spring loaded connection. Just think, if you get one then you and I will have the same mod and I will be really happy

@NoFumus the only thing you probably won't like about it is it's rather large size --- but it is a very solid and reliable mod.

Thanks for asking, but no I do not yet. But, I've "watched" the various threads in which resident experts have recommended batteries and chargers.

yeah you will need a small one ($20 or so) and a couple of 18650 batteries (Sony VTC 4 would be nice) and then you're all set, that is if you have tanks to throw on the thing.

I just might do that, as I'm planning to get two before the year's out. If I could make you happy at the same time, that would be a bonus. I appreciate the info on the finer details about the IPV4 issues. At least they don't have a form factor reminiscent of the Borg mother ship.

The advice about slowing down sounds right, but might not be doable. It would probably keep you safer physically, but drive you mad.

I don't think so. I just use iSticks right now, which are essentially disposable. Now, I want to invest in something that will last a while.

yeah you won't have to throw these away --- I hope you like the silver model because that one does not scratch very easily.

That's what I wasn't sure about, especially with the single-cell mods. I do vape pretty low watts, 10-20W, depending on tank, and I don't know how long that would last.

I don't either but I can tell you that's double the length of time if you were operating at 40 watts
