Thank you sweet Lady :) That was a very wise post and you sort of took the words out of my mouth.... Lots of folks (normals) just do not get it when I say something like "I am misunderstood", or "I was just joking" ........ I have had to endure that my entire life and the part that really sucks about it is that I never set out to hurt anyone or make anyone angry, but yet I always do?

I know I joke more than most people and I can't change that fact even though I have tried for many years. I have come to the conclusion that it's just part of my personality. I can handle it if someone says I am being stupid, silly or a smart {moderated} , or some other name they want to call me because of some joke I may have said.... All of that is fine and I know I have went too far when that occurs....but what I can't handle is when someone insults my joking itself, because then they are insulting me as that is part of me.
Don't change

Pascal's wager. The big problem is that, if you truly don't believe, there is no way to make yourself believe. And if there is a great entity in the sky, he or she will know that you didn't really mean it, so there isn't any point to it.

I wholeheartedly, but respectfully, disagree with those thoughts --- people are always drumming up excuses on why not to believe. Many humans desire to be their own God and do not like the idea of having to submit anything of themselves to a higher authority, as that would be too difficult or hard. In other words, lots of folks want to remain carnally minded as it's far easier to do what one wants rather than to do what some God may want.

Generally speaking, most folks do have a choice in whether to believe or not -- it is a simple personal choice. I don't buy the argument that some folks cannot believe. The entire premise of the Bible teachings is that every human does have a choice. Some folks would say that even if there were no Biblical teachings, that the universe and nature itself screams that there is a God and universal intellect and intelligent design all around us staring us in the face at all times.

Anyway, I could expound in great detail on why I feel the way I do but I am not what the typical Christian would consider to be a very Godly person... I used to think exactly like @Robert Cromwell says he views things but over the last couple of years I have learned much that I never realized before that has dramatically changed my views. Besides, this type of topic can get very lengthy and lead too many debates which would derail this thread far away from Asperger's and other related neurologic problems. So, I will not expound on this subject too much (Like I would like to).

Every human has a choice? Like every human has a choice to not be mentally ill? Think about it.

I agree with this and have no problem bowing my head down and thanking Him for all my blessings.

 Cromwell, You don't think I haven't thought of those things many moons ago? (like when I was about 7 years old)

The problem stems from the fact that you are trying to understand many HIGHER metaphysical things with a limited human mindset and it can't be done..... you either believe in something that is totally outside of our limited realm or you don't the CHOICE is yours.... Being born with a disability is NOT the same as having a spiritual disability. Even ......ed, and most mentally ill people can believe in God.... The reason why is because they indeed have a choice and a free will despite their physical brain injuries. The "will" is not the conscious mind.

The people who I have analyzed in my life that have the most difficulties in believing in God are the intellectuals and scientists. I know, I used to be one who was totally agnostic and a bit of a scientific egghead. The reason for that is in fact a simple one........ They are viewing life through the prism of concrete facts and concrete experiments. They don't even see that they are in reality, limiting themselves to being blind and limiting themselves to the carnal world. Sure, there are a few Christian scientists but their numbers are few.

Every kid and most adults has favorites and heroes right? I have NEVER had ANY, zero, zilch, nada. Ask me my favorite anything and I have no answer. I have learned to come up with an answer but it is just part of my public "face". Well ECF is my favorites Ecig board but it is my only ecig board ;) Favorite color? Actor? musician? Political party? Vehicle? And sports? I liked to play them but to watch them and know players names I have ZERO interest and would not care if all college/pro sports went away. And think it would be a good thing if political party's went away. I have no desire to follow anyone, I just do not understand how a person can worship anyone or anything.
People speak of a God shaped hole in your mind that God/religion fills. I do not have that hole. I literally am a party of one.

Well enough of that. Public face back on, I have spilled enough of my guts on here.

Going to mix up some pineapple coconut something today...
And work on my Shuger Kookie Juice some more..

@Cromwell ... I don't know why you cannot get it through your head that you and myself are like some sort of weird twins or something. What I mean is that there is hardly any thought that you mention or anything else that is not exactly either like myself now or how I was in a past time.... In other words Cromwell, we are about as close as two people can become to being identical. I too never had a favorite anything. No favorite colors, no favorite actors, nada...... So, I know exactly where you are coming from and experienced it most of my life. It has only been in the last couple years that I have started to understand a different side of things. But, that is me and I would in no way ever try to push thoughts on people..... I am not even much of a church goer and I tend to look at many biblical things far differently than the average church going Christian..... Yes, these types of issues are very tough to talk about because they are not what man considers "scientific" and so they are impossible to prove....... So, this subject is a bit of a moot thing for people such as the two of us.

Happy vaping on your ejuices :)

lol sister --- naw @Robert Cromwell and I are not arguing --- we are just seeing how each other believes regarding this subject :) Cromwell is almost exactly like myself, which is another reason I suspect he is Asperger along with a possible anxiety/depression disorder.
