Lowes has had all their Christmas stuff up for 2 weeks....

I used to be bothered by that more, until I spent several years working for a major retailer. When one season ends, even if it's "back to school" or "gardening" then you need to fill those shelves back up with "something". Nothing looks worse than empty shelves.

Do you ever watch the news much? Well, if you do then you should certainly realize that things are the inverse of the way you are trying to portray them. It is always the Christians and the churches who are having bans placed upon them. Heck, chaplains in the military are no longer allowed to have crosses hanging up in their chapels. Churches all over the place are having bans and laws placed against them.

I'd like a reference for this please. All I can find is a single Fox News article that states a Military Chapel in Afghanistan was told to remove the cross when the building was not being used for christian religious events. Which is exactly what they tell every other religion in the military. The Chapels are considered non-denominational and as such there is no imagery to be hung on the walls outside of services.

No more debate? Cmon you guys I am just getting "warmed up" :) I love debating and it's one of the things I like most about forums.

I can't debate you, because I agree with almost everything you said, and RobertCromwell, and Atchafalaya, and MaendaMoogle, and NoFumus. :)

A nano Clapton at .67 ohms in my mutation. New daily vape for sure. 32 watts and clouds

I'm glad you're enjoying it, but I"m not sure it qualifies for tootle-puffing just because you included something higher guage. :) I think it's a nice salute to solidarity with your fellow higher-ohm vapers though. It sounds like you experiment a lot with your builds. I did for the first 3 weeks, then got stuck in a rut -- a happy rut though.

Oh sure, I can look up the data and point you to it...... When I do, then I will post it on here for all to see who are interested.

Anyway, please try not to get mad or upset about my debating because it is simply my nature. I certainly mean no offense by it, especially to another aspie..... I don't care how you think or what you believe in because you are more like me than even you may realize..... I know some about how you believe and I also know some about your lifestyle..... None of that is going to keep me from liking you nor should it be a hindrance to how you feel about me....... So, I hope you are not too upset at me.

@MaenadMoogle the problem with lots of folks is that they let their belief systems ruin many things that should not be ruined. I am not so simple of a person that I cannot learn from others or even change my belief system if needed. People need to be more flexible in my opinion.

ahhh a person that likes the safety of sitting on the fence lol
Debates are NOT supposed to be about "winning" or "losing" or getting mad, at least not "healthy" and mature debates..... Rather they were originally designed so that people can LEARN from each other...... I have learned much from other people through healthy debates and it is my hope that others may have gleaned something from me.

    Yes, personality type of ENFJ-T.
    Non-confrontational
I know I am weird and all but I don't view debating as being a "confrontation" --- I view it as a tool so that people can learn from each other. For example, @MaenadMoogle spit out a couple of factoids that I was not aware of because I am not a linguistics major...So, I learned from those factoids and stuffed them away into my mental knowledge bank...... Even though I may not agree with her overall theology means little to me because I can still learn from her. The same should apply when people read some of the factoids that I may spit out from time to time.

True, but some debates can turn confrontational. I'm not going to debate about debating. lol:D

    I found this:

Army Regulation 165-1, 12-3k:”The chapel environment will be religiously neutral when the facility is not being used for scheduled worship. Portable religious symbols, icons, or statues may be used within a chapel during times of religious worship.”

“Symbols are to be moved or covered when not in use during services. Distinctive religious symbols, such as crosses, crucifixes, the Star of David, Menorah, and other religious symbols will not be affixed or displayed permanently on the chapel interior, exterior, or grounds. Permanent or fixed chapel furnishings, such as the altar, pulpit, lectern, or communion rail will be devoid of distinctive religious symbols.”

Which I think is SUPER fair. Everybody has a "safe" space to go to so that they may practice their chosen religion in peace without being bombarded by all the other religious iconography. They put up the stuff they want when they use the space and the next guy does the same thing.
