I'm interested in buying an Atlantis but I want to know if anyone's had any issues with flooding. The reason I quit using the nautilus is because of the flooding.

Any input from Atlantis owners would be appreciated.

I had the Aspire Nautilis (5ML) before I got the Atlantis. It would leak like no other. I mean I was pushing/cleaning out more juice through the air flow holes than I was vaping it. I decided to take a chance on the Atlantis because I heard from several people that their Nautilus never leaked and came to the conclusion that mine was defective considering they are made in mass quantities on a assembly line. I've had the Atlantis for about 3 weeks and it vapes like a champ. Best of all NO LEAKING AT ALL. Its such a weird feeling to own a tank that has absolutely no leaks. This is the best tank I've ever had and I have had many different tanks before including Kanger tanks as well and they all leaked. I would HIGHLY recommend an Atlantis. This thing also chucks clouds which is pretty dope.

Do you guys know if there will be an extension glass-piece available, to raise the juice capacity on the Atlantis, any time soon? Maybe fast tech

My Atlantis will be here tomorrow, ($25 at midsouthtrading.com) + 10 coils.. I've tried it a few times and it rocked, so I bought one. But today I got to try the Subtank at a local vape shop - and the flavor was AMAZING!! And clouds, just as big and thick as the Atlantis from what I remember.. Excellent airflow, better than my Billow Tank wide opened.
.... and despite it's big size, it actually looked really cool on the IPV Mini.. My relative grabbed the Mini & the Subtank.

Now, I'm regretting getting the Atlantis.. I might contact the website tonight, and try to exchange for the Subtank.. The Flavor was soo good, huge thick clouds, and it holds way more juice & looks real cool. Plus, people are saying the Atlantis coils are unsafe now; and ST uses Japanese cotton.
I also want to sell my IPV3 for an IPV Mini now lol, and that sexy Sigelei 150w.. Damn, why do I have to regret every vape purchase and have buyers remorse?? Seems like I'm making a lot of mistakes lately with my vape purchases, and all this new gear coming out

Yeah, I found right after I posted this - that Aspire is releasing a 5ml Glass Piece for the Atlantis, to extend juice capacity, around Jan 5!! :)
Thanks.. Still kind of wishing I got the Subtank though.. But I already have the Billow Tank too, I'll probably give the Atlantis a chance and wait until they release a smaller Subtank

I use both the N mini and Atlantis most every day. No problems with either one. I've been vaping on the Atlantis daily for close to 6 weeks with coffee flavor 50/50 liquid, 25 watts. The original coil is still fine.

P.S. A sleeper worth looking into, the Egrip with the new tiny weenie RBA upgrade. I've been vaping that combination since Friday. Small device but not small on vapor and flavor.

Looks very cool the egrip. But it's the same power output (20W), as my istick.
What's the rba upgrade do?
thanks!
p.s
Now i'm thinking of getting the ipv mini.....i don't like big bulky box mods...so this may be the way to go to get into that massive vapor production realm. And i still like my stupid istick with bvc coils ...lol. not for long!

Found a video for you guys wishing the tank (Atlantis), would hold a bit more juice then it does.
This guy fills it all the way up with no air left in tank...sooo you get about another 1ml of juice in there!
He just unscrews the base, but then takes the element out and screws that into the tank itself...then fills ! (sneaky 'ol vape vet) hehe.
Hope this helps with your never ending quest to tinker wit your vape gear.

p.s

If your having trouble firing after this, then the atomizer isn't making contact.
In that case...forget this method....lol....

This method is fine for filling that extra ml. Just screw the coil halfway into the chimney first... not all the way. This way the coil will make contact with the 510 then screw the rest of the way into the chimney as you tighten the tank.

I am glad to see that I am not the only one in love with the Atlantis.

I am glad to see drippers and rebuilders coming around.

Flavor wise I think its just about on par with the kayfun, but below the Lemo Drop or a dripper. Cloud wise... its well... awesome. Ill take a little drop in flavor to have gobs of vapor. I will say that I put it down to the first or second hole, reduced the wattage a hair and used the drip tip from my nautilus and the flavor was perfect and I could mouth to lung.

I prefer it wide open, big drip tip, on the CF SUB battery with about an 80%vg juice... I am out of 6mg so I have to take it easy... 3 good 12mg hits on this and I have to sit down.

I SAID ALL THAT TO SAY THIS... we are just now exploring rebuilding the coke can sized coils, we haven't even seen the larger tanks aspire is releasing yet. This thing is nothing less than awesome, and we haven't seen the other coils yet... I hear they will release 1 ohm and higher coils, and what about the Atlantis Turbo, the ATlantis elgigante, the ATlantis 3.1 that I invented in my imagination?

Plug and play vaping with as much vapor as you could want and flavor as good as the best dripper... its going to happen. It may not have seemed possible when you were sucking on an EVOD on the end of a 600mah eGo... but what about now?

I only keep my nautilus because of 3 things... I ran out of 6mg juice, I cant vape those kind of clouds indoors at work, and the Nautilus works perfectly on my CF SUB.

I feel so bad for my poor MVPs... relegated to being used as backup batteries to charge my phone... and maybe my CF SUB? Ive got to try that...

I've had the Atlantis for around four days now. At first I loved it, but I've burned through two coils now. I'm vaping at 30W on a Hana clone. I'm vaping an 80% VG juice. Am I doing something wrong here? These coils are just putting out a charred taste.
A burned taste might happen if the coil isn't getting enough liquid and over heating the smaller amount of liquid that's there or if the liquid is so viscus it can't wick fast enough or because the wicking material is clogged with things that won't wick or because the tank has run out of liquid. I use 50/50 liquid that is a dark color and 25 watts. After more than 6 weeks I'm still using the original coil. The coils on my N mini do not last as long.

I would like to try firing the Atlantis below 25 watts but my IPV 2s can't do that. My understanding how the various power supplies work is incomplete. It may be that I'll have to wait for Aspire to provide a coil that is 1 ohm or above.

They are NOT authentic, BTW. Aspire doesn't make 1.0Ω coils for the Atlantis.
There is a discussion for this product on the fastech web site. The question is asked. A fastech person seems to be responding that they are authentic Aspire coils. genuine?: FastTech Forums Perhaps Aspire is just ramping up production on those or perhaps they are going slow to push the sale of their unregulated mods or may be there is a marketing advantage to the term "sub ohm". It's nice if they are authentic but I'm determined to try a higher ohm coil never the less.

I'm new to the electrical principles related to vaping but it appears to me the only reason to use a sub ohm coil is to get certain performance from an unregulated mod. If I'm understanding correctly, a 1.0 ohm coil at 25 watts should produce the same vapor as a .5 ohm coil. I bought an IPV 2s for the atlantis because I needed it to fire a .5 ohm coil but the minimum watts is 25. But at 1 ohm there is the option to reduce the watts below 25 or use a wider range of mods like an iStick that normally can't fire a sub ohm coil. In the mean time I believe I've read that a higher ohm coil should use power somewhat more efficently. Some one who knows more about the electrical variables please correct me if I've got this wrong.

If 1 ohm coils had been available for the atlantis for Christmas I would have bought one for my brother, instead of an N mini, to put on the iStick I also got him.

Of course they are going to say they are Authentic. But the quick test is to go to Aspire's website and see if they carry 1.0Ω coils for the Atlantis, and they don't.

I know it's been requested by users, and Aspire said they are considering it. But at this time, they are not making 1.0Ω coils for the Atlantis.
So there is evidence that the coils are made by aspire and evidence that they are not. Never the less I want to know how 1 ohm coils might behave in an atlantis. In a week to 10 days, assuming the delivery aircraft doesn't mysteriously disappeare at sea, may be we will know. I hope some others will get those coils and report what they find.

Edit, One more thing. There are two user reviews attached to the fastech item. In the second one the reviewer says he can fire the 1 ohm coils on his iStick and has no complaints.

I just received the Kraigen replacement tank - 8 mls! - from Kidney Puncher.

uses the stock Aspire Atlantis base and coils, just brings the capacity to much better 8 mls..

Liking it a lot!

and sofarsogood.. yes, if you either rebuild it to 1 ohm, or Aspire eventually came out with 1 ohm coils, iStick would fire it. also, eLeaf is releasing a 50w iStick thats not much bigger very soon.. fire's down to the .5 ohm of current Atlantis coils range!
