Well I got a little surprise from the mail man today and my coils came a day early! I haven't had much time to test it yet but so far so good. First one out of the package working great. This is how the nautilus was meant to be. In using a new flavor so I can't really comment on the difference but the flavor is good along with vapor production. I still never get the vapor production I see in the reviews out of any device but I'm satisfied.

So despite my misgivings about the window shape of the Stainless Nautilus Mini being comparable to certain external male organs, I went ahead and ordered that and the mini Nautilus from Kidney Puncher to go with the BLEM Satin Silver PProVari mini I ordered as a backup.

I love these coils, been using them for a few days now, and they definitely blow the performance of the BDCs out of the water.

Though I'm concerned, I've got two different new BVCs in two different original Nautilus tanks and there is a discrepancy.

These coils are rated @ 1.8 ohms from the manufacturer, but the first one out of the box is reading 2.0 ohms on my ProVari

The second coil is reading @ 1.9, so these are clearly mass manufactured, and not exactly to the strictest standards.

With the first coil, I got an overload reading when I tried to hit 5.7 volts. Vapes @ 5.5 just fine though.

With the second coil, I hit about 5.4-5.5 volts before getting an overload reading.

Still, these coils far outperform the BDC's. With the BDC's I rarely went above 4.0 volts.

Though with these new coils, I seem to get a bit of a soapy taste. Anyone know if this could be caused by the filler/wicks?

Anyone know if the Nautilus BVC coil assembly will fit on an Aspire ET-S BDC? I'm using 1.8 ohm BDCs on an Aspire ET-S, and the vapor tends to run hot, with muted flavor to boot. Something like the Nautilus BVC sounds like it may work well as a replacement. I believe there may also be BSC replacements for the Aspire ET-S and other earlier Aspire BDC models.

No as far as I know they only fit the Nautilus and the mini.

I gave up on hoping the Aspire Nautilus BVC head would fit an older model Aspire BDC. So I just bought a Nautilus Mini from evape.us for about $22. So low I paid $2 extra for expedited shipping ($5 total S&H). Unfortunately, they do not yet have BVC replacement coils in stock, so I couldn't put those on the same order. I can hardly wait to try it out on my one iTaste vv v3. I've never seen pictures of one of these on that model iTaste, so I may post pics if I end up happy with the new setup. I've gone a little crazy with buying new e-cig stuff recently, and really need to slow down.

That just seems to be the way things go when I'm trying out new equipment. Previously I have been using an Aspire ET-S on the iTaste. Vapor and throat hit were good, but flavors subdued, and the vapor runs a little hot. Juice leaking a bit into the air tube and mouthpiece has been my biggest issue, which I have never fully been able to resolve. I've got an EVOD and a Davide Mini on their way to check out as well. It will be interesting to try out and compare all 4 setups on the iTaste, which itself has been a pretty good little piece of equipment so far. I probably need to buy another one, and maybe a lanyard for it. Any suggestions?

Heard rumors an upgrade to the full size Nautilus is in the works, anyone in the know?

Interested on that as well. I just purchased a regular Nautilus to use with BVC simply because the Mini doesn't hold enough for me but I read that the airflow ring is much better on the mini etc :/ An updated version to match the Mini would be cool

I am on day 7 with my first BVC in my regular sized Nautilus. I have to say that I really love it so far.:vapor:

What have you been running for juice? Anything sweet or dark? I'm only on day 3 with my first coil and so far so good. I've been using cotton candy and cheesecake. I'm anxious to see how long they last with unflavored. That seems to prolong coil life by a lot!

I DIY my juice and I am vaping a mixed fruit flavor with low amount of flavoring used. 70/30 blend. It is clear and does tend to run clean. Still, the flavor is just outstanding. Even now on day 7.
