I have several of these tanks that I got for different flavors I am testing out. If I do not like a flavor and want to dump it, how exactly am I supposed to clean these out so the flavor of the last liquid is gone and I can try another flavor? I also saw from the vendor that I bought these from that there are replacement coils? I have no idea what I am doing so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have one of those too. The tank comes apart at the base and the top. When you take the base off you will see the part that is called the coil. That will also screw off simply by twisting it counter clockwise. I take all the parts off and rinse off with hot water from the sink. Then I take them all with the exception of the coil, and place in a bowl of the hottest water my tap will put out. I let them soak for about 10-15 minutes and rinse again, and then I set aside so they can dry.

The coil itself I soak in white vodka for 12 hours, usually the entire day or overnight. After it is done soaking in the Vodka, for the said time period, I place them in a bowl of hot water from the tap for about 15 minutes. This is just to get some of the Vodka out of the coil/wick. Then I place them out to dry for an entire day.

That coil part is the part you can purchase separately, and they will need to be replaced every 2-4 weeks depending on flavor/vapor production decline. I find with proper cleaning these particular coils can last longer than say my Aspire Nautilus coils. You can usually find these coils at your local vapor shop, however, not all shops carry them--so call in advance.

You can also purchase them online for a much better price. I can find 5 packs for about $11.00 online with free shipping. Don't forget, to check the various vendors in your area because I have found them at the local B&M for about the same price. I've also seen local B&M's sell them for $25.

I hope this helps.

Thanks for the info, Skeebo. I do see that My Freedom Smokes has them as well for a little more - http://www.myfreedomsmokes.com/miscellaneous/aspire-bdc-replacement-coil-heads-5pk/. I don't know of any local shops that would carry these. I purchased the tanks from My Freedom Smokes and they come in a variety of colors so I can keep track of what liquid is in what tank. I guess that this new habit is still pretty expensive but not to the point of $46 every 7 days for a carton! Do I have to use vodka? I saw others talking about vinegar. I do not have a drinking problem, but was wondering because I do not have vodka on hand but do have white vinegar. I just took apart a brand new clearomizer and now see what the little part is that is the coil. I don't have to take that little part apart do I? Just take that and soak it and it should last for a while? Sorry with all the question, just very new to this.

No need to apologize darling.

Once you separate the coil from the bottom of the tank that's pretty much it. And, yes that's the part you want to soak. I've never tried vinegar, but my guess is it will probably work. I'd be more worried about it lingering and affecting my flavor, but perhaps a few extra soaks it some hot water will help that. It's worth a shot.
